Will.i.am Sued Over Stolen Music

Music producer Will.i.Am has a long and ugly history of stealing beats [click here if you missed that], and it looks like he just got caught stealing again...

According to reports PK Music Performance, who owns the copyrights to J.C. Davis' 1969 single “A New Day is Here at Last,” is suing Will.i.Am and Justin Timberlake claiming their 2006 hit single "Damn Girl" is a complete rip off.

PK Music Performance is seeking unspecified damages.

Listen below and comment whether or not you think they have a case.

Obvious. When I first heard the song I thought they just got the sample cleared. That's how much these two songs sound alike

I've always said that about hip hop. It's creative but not original. I heard someone arguing over a montell Jordan song,"I Like" , they heard the beat and said montell stole it from 2pac's "TOSS it up" . They both were wrong, it was McCrae's "Get Lifted" but what can you say.
