Lil Wayne Suing Universal Music Group


Rapper Lil Wayne is suing Universal Music Group over monies owed for discovering Drake, Nicki Minaj and Tyga...

According to reports Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group claiming they diverted royalties owed to him to pay themselves back for a $100 million advance to Cash Money Records.

Wayne claims Cash Money's debt to UMG has nothing to do with him or his label Young Money Records.

Weezy is seeking $40 million in damages.

Lil Wayne is also suing Cash Money for refusing to release his latest album Tha Carter V and release his advance [click here if you missed that].

what does the CONTRACT say, it doesn't matter who you discovered do you have PAPER on them?

Are you guys on crack? What do you mean what does the contract say?? They sure aren't calling them royalties for the hell of it. And what does having babies and taking drugs have to do with people just taking your sh*t because of your boss didn't pay his bills.

No but Wayne probably was and when you are HIGH all the time people will ROB you. I'm sure Baby was robbing him from the beginning, you see he's suing Cash money as well right *blinks*
