Whitney Houston Doc Headed to Showtime

Last week news leaked that a documentary about Whitney Houston's drug use was being produced by the British Broadcasting Company [click here if you missed that].

Now the doc has been picked up by American cable network Showtime...

Showtime Senior Vice-President Vinnie Malhorta confirms,
“Nick [Broomfield] is a bold storyteller with an acclaimed track record of provocative documentary filmmaking. Showtime Documentary Films is thrilled to partner with him on this project, as he delves deep into the life of Whitney Houston to tell the real story behind the rise and fall of one of America’s most iconic singers.”

...but showtime though? I don't know 5 people with that channel and I'm not about to go buy it for one show.

Please allow this "Beautiful Angel" that Our Lord and Saviour placed into our lives for only a brief momentJe gifted her a voice that filled our spirits and continues to resonate within us. Regardless of how her life ended, she lived her purpose and now at peace. Rejoice in that!

Whitney is a public figure who died tragically there will always be some form of exploitation to be made from that - with that said Whitney was her own demon nobody killed her she killed herself - tell the story maybe it will save a young starlet from the same fate... PS I have Showtime maybe you and your friends just broke
