Bank Trustees Drill Prince's Vault Plus the Time Michael Jackson Went to See Prince in Concert

Bank trustees prepare to drill Prince's secret vault at Paisley Park studios and Will.I.Am shares an amusing story about the time Prince epically shaded Michael Jackson in Las Vegas...

From KSTP
5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has been told Bremer Bank, recently appointed trustee of Prince’s estate, hired a St. Paul company to drill through Prince’s personal vault at Paisley Park Tuesday. Sources said the bank had to move quickly to get inside the vault because, as court-appointed trustee, Bremer is legally responsible for safeguarding and handling all of Prince’s assets.
The vault is known to store Prince’s invaluable recordings, of which, dozens have not been released. Prince was the only person who knew the combination, which is the reason Bremer Bank had to hire someone to drill through the lock to retrieve and take inventory of its contents.
Will.I.Am shares an amusing story about the time he took Michael Jackson to see Prince in concert.

@2:24

Are you talking about the midriffs? That's straight out the eighties. Clothes don't make a man gay having sex with other men does.

What do you suggest the regular black men do? What are you and yours doing?

I know Prince was known to be somewhat eccentric and had trouble trusting others, but I just cannot understand why he couldn't at least give his attorney who got him out of his initial contract with Warner Bros. the combination to the vault and have him do his will (or have someone on his team to do it).

Now you got the sister walking out the initial meeting with the judge regarding who will be responsible for Prince's assets in the interim because people are in their feelings about who wasn't invitied to the memorial service and who believes they should receive more of the money even though Minnesota law is clear.

I'm sure Prince knew how his family got down, which is all the more reason to have a will to keep those who you don't want to be rewarded for the fruits of your labor out your pockets.

I'm surprised that Snitch didn't report on that too.

Everyone knew that of all of the people around him family or not, Prince DID trust Londell McClendon(sp?). Just SMH at the free fall that is about to ensue.

RIP Prince.

I believe Prince had a Will and the last person who was with him or found him had access to it and destroyed it
Prince was no dummy AT ALL
Just like Michael wasnt. Prince and Michael both knew the industry inside out
And the knew the behavior of vultures within the industry, and outside of it
And Im sure they were all so aware on how greedy and sinister greedy family members could be
The sister look very sneaky and conniving and I wouldnt be surprised the least if she had her hand in his final moments or in what lead up to his death
She remind me of a Pat Houston/Ray j
It is also very odd that Prince signed back under Warner brothers in 2014, especially after decades of having such a long viscious battle with them
Then a soon as he got his catalog back, poof
he is a goner with them possibly getting access to his present/future music , possibly through Prince's bloodsucking relatives
I know my entire comment may sound ridiculous , deluded and far fetched, but But I guess I am in denial cuz
I believe NOTHING the media may say or report
Even if it happens to be the truth
Cus I dont believe or trust the folks who deliver the stories to the news outlet
I just dont
jmo

@ 5:30pm I so want to believe that as well, but how come he just couldn't leave the original or copy with his attorney and/or some other person who he trusted especially since like I said before, he knew full well which family were okay and who the vultures were like the music industry execs. I believe if any attorney out there helped Prince prepare his will they would have came out the shadows . Just a sad state of affairs I tell ya.

Dont pay any mind to me @5:39pm cuz like I mentioned, my thoughts on the matter are very far fetched and all over the place

But money TALKS and bullshyt walks
We are talking MASSIVE unreleased music
The attorneys could have been bought off too
near the end
We are talking Warner Brothers and their obsession of owning and controlling music
We are speaking of "the devils" like Michael mentioned, who will stop at nothing to win
They crave control and are extremely greedy

Prince wasnt really close with his surviving family members, so that kind of left it free for all as far as his fortune was concerned
At least Michael had Ms Katherine and his
(adpoted) kids. Which if was challenged, might have caused some problems
Knowing Prince, he probably left a lot of his wealth to charities (remember he donated 1 milllion dollars when he was alive to that black charter school in harlem)
And he could have left some of it also to the Jeohovah witnesses
And Lord knows, they wasnt letting a black man leave his wealth/legacy to notable causes like that
With Michael situation, he gave a lot of power to the attorneys up front
And he VERY much well over compensated them
With money and power
But Prince strikes me as being very shrewd when dealing with underhanded individuals
And even though I didnt know him personally
His persona/personality always came across
as being the same way through out the years

But u know what @5:39pm, maybe he didnt give a phuck, and didnt leave a will
And the joke is all on us
And Maybe he did just say "phuck it" a long time ago, cus he knew wasnt going to be here to spend it any how
Thanx 4 criical thinking with me, cus I
just cant believe everything that is told
Especially coming from a bunch of sophisicated crooks

@6:14pm No, thank you. I always appreciate someone's genuine and intelligent perspective on topics posted here. I definitely understand what you are saying because money does talk and people would be more than willing to sell their soul to the devil in the name of doing something underhanded and tawdry.

I just can't understand why he would just leave his unfinished work hanging out there like that because of 1) unscrupulous people getting their hands on it, 2)he was very protective of his work and 3)the amount of money it could generate in the event of his death, which only equals those same devils reaping the rewards of his years of hard work.

With that being said, maybe he either like in your words said phuck it let them sort the mess out, or he really did not have a true understanding of hi mortality. What a shame.

BTW I also commented on the Kelly and Michael thread posted today I would like to hear your take on it as well.

Cool @10:54pm, Im going over thread now
Also I read an article on DailyMail that Prince left enough music that the estate will be able to release 1 song per month for years to come
Smh, again if U and I arent even in the business, and we have somewhat of a perspective of Prince's value
Im sure he did too.
They probably got him

Happy to see we're all in accord...Will-I-am is a Fukin coon acting like he knows some shit...

Hmmm, it speaks volumes about Prince that he did that to Michael. Don't wanna speak ill of the dead--and Prince was a bonafide genius, it's true--but he really was so competitive and jealous of the K.O.P. Even way back in the day, when Prince showed up just when the recording of We Are The World was ending....so passive-aggressive. What? MJ, Lionel, Stevie, Diana, and the dozens of other musical superstars weren't good enuf to share a stage with? Not humble, especially for a JW. Love his music, don't particularly appreciate him as a person.

LMAO @10:26, it's def a shitty situation
