Jay Z Sues Tidal's Former Owners

Rapper Jay Z sues the former owners of his music streaming service claiming they inflated the number of subscribers ahead of the sale...

According to reports Jay Z filed paper work against Swedish venture capital company Verdane claiming Aspiro and the music streaming platform WiMP, which would later become TIDAL, had far fewer than the 503k subscribers Verdane claimed at the time of the sale.

Jay Z bought Aspiro for $56 million last year.

Jay is seeking unspecified damages.

uurrrghhh what is wrong with these idiot celebrities keep getting into business deals then suing later cause their dumb azzes didn't do proper due diligence... look dummy you supposed to do your forensic accounting in advance so you don't run into issues like this later... you suck as a businessman ever since he chitted on Dame Dash seems like his business choices have all fizzled... i.e. Dame was the brains and Jigga had the connects (name recognition)....

Reading this reminds me of how much of an astute businessman Michael Jackson was.
He bought the Beatles catalogue for $34 million in the late 80s and that catalogue is worth a conservative $1 billion.
That Black Power. Black economic power.
What Michael did was some Trump Lotto shit.

JAY .. everyone he raps about owning this and that, you just look at him and shake your head.

So either he's admitting he got duped or he's trying to get out of a deal that he couldn't make happen. Either way it's not a good look.

You can't win em all Jigga, you can't win em all!! He should've known from personal experience that people lie anout numbers!

Dame was not that good of a business man because he hasn't done shit since. Even after Jayz CEO of Def Jam, they split the other 50% of the company amongst the 3 of them, hell had enough millions to make another Dynasty but NO his temper, arrogance and bad decision making cost him his wife, kids, homes, millions, businesses, money to pay lawyer fees, taxes and child support, hell he even lost his teeth. Trust he isn't a smart business man either!

The fitness gear looks tacky. I wouldn't count on that making up the shortfall.

A case of the hustler got hustled. The reason why Jay even made the comment about numbers don't lie is because he wanted to take the focus off of all the inflated numbers he and his wife add on to justify their bragging about how great they are.

All he's doing is trying to is create a slick way to get back the money he invested in yet, another failed investment. When you're the willing puppet, you can't get mad at the puppet master. You can't do the puppet masters dirty work and don't expect to have dirt done to you. Blah, blah, blah and so on...

Jay Z is not a good business man. He has the star power and funds to hire people that are. He let his ego take over and he thought that people would run to join Tidal a failing service to begin with because he was at the helm. Ive sideeyed him since the 90's ever since any artist that he signed rarely made it big. I'm starting to think that they purposely tank the careers of their artists so that they wont take their top spots.
