THAT SHIT WAS AMAZING!! At first I was looking for Prince and couldn't find him, but damn if he didn't own that shit at the end. Gat dam, he was on stage with the great guitar players and with his style, attitude, SKILL - got ALL the attention. Just... Wow. His showmanship with that fall, all the while lighting that guitar up -sheeeeeeeeet. Taken too soon. RIP Prince.
Prince threw the guitar up into the air and it didn't come back down while he strutted off the stage! Ha!! RIP Prince. Never be another like you.
I was just telling my young one about this performance. Glad to see it posted here.
Let's no forget George Harrison's wife was wary of having Prince in the tribute because she "didn't know" if he had the chops for it...That's part of why he played the hell out of the song then walked the hell off stage and didn't wait for applause. A true talent gauges their talent against themselves, not against what others say. He was playing for himself to see how good he could do.You see George Harrison's son was amazed and the rest of the band turned into a "background band" and looked salty. That's why I'll miss Prince. He didn't get emotional when people questioned his talent. He simple showed you he was talented and if you didn't understand him, that was your problem. He always said "I stole rock back and some people aren't happy about that."
My Man! He ripped up the stage, then "pimp-walked" off! Talk about a "mike-drop moment!"He will be sorely missed. RIP Prince.
you see who they gave the solo to - RIP Prince. #PurpleRain
@9:12Let's not forget to shut the fuck up. Who are yall niggas that always got some type of weird ass back story that paints a darker picture of everything? It's a cool video of Prince playing the guitar. Save that conspiracy shit for something impactful.
Damn......Picks jaw up off the floor and exits thread.
