Rihanna Reaches Major Milestone with Work

Rihanna hits a major milestone as her smash hit single Work ft Drake spends its 7th week at no.1...

Rihanna is now one of only two artists who have led the Billboard Hot 100 chart for seven weeks four times.

RiRi's first seven week streak started with 'Umbrella,' followed by her duet with Eminem 'Love the Way You Lie,' rounded out by her 10 week chart topper 'We Found Love.'

The only other artist to manage to stay on top for seven weeks four different times is Mariah Carey.

Watch and see how the haters come in and stank the place up with their mess. They do one of two things they try to ignore what She is doing are they trash her efforts to high heaven.

What can the haters do to try and mare this power grab.

The first 7 comments were from the same person lol

OT: I like "Work" so i'm not mad.

It's mar.

A mare is a female horse.

Also, congrats to Rihanna.

Also, the landscape of music is dire. Rihanna barely sounds present on "Work". She sounds flat and deflated. I like the sound of the song, but I don't think it's a smash hit, even though the charts say otherwise.

the bar is so low these days, anyhow.

none of these writers are on the level of any of the depth of the writing that came from the pioneers in this business

money definitely changed the game, and not for the better, but the young folk love the new stuff and that's what fuels the business.

todays music, quantity, definitely
quality, not so much.

Work Work Work Work Work

now put that up to a Marvin Song, a Smokey Song, or a Curtis Mayfield

Can you pay my Bills Bills Bills
No No No No No

I'ma put you to bed, bed, bed
I'ma put you to bed, bed, bed

these are actually song lyrics for some of the biggest songs of the last 20 years

Meanwhile, BeYawnce needs GIMMICKS to stay on top, cause her Bee Hive Stans are broke and dumb.

to be fair mainstream pop songs tend to be pretty frivolous. if she was being marketed as an r&b singer then i would see the outrage lol because you need to bring it with the soul music. but as a pop song she can say work work work ten times and it's okay lol. not a big fan like songs here and there just think it's cool a young black woman making these milestones and she seems to recognize her limited talents so whatever lol

I had to get used to her song "Work" , and at first it irritated me, but now I can listen to it in Peace. I didn't like Umbrella when it first dropped, then I ended up loving that ella, ella, to pieces. No matter what there will always be the air heads who will nit pick every single thing she does. One thing is for sure, and that is she is still giving it her best shot, Her work that is. She may never be Aretha, Fannie, are Jennifer Hudson, but she is still getting paid all the same.

Black girls like Rihanna rock.

It's only natural for people to not like her song Work, or any of her Music.
People don't have to like the song, because it's clear it's a hit, and is still number one, and as far and her and her team is concerned, as well as the Navy that really is all that matters at the end of the day.

Shes a a young woman who grew up with a dad who did drugs, and she still forgave him. Fashion-forward pop star Rihanna gave her new Puma collection her family name to honor her father That take a very strong woman to do something that is nice for their dad.

So many that she has did Collabs with is blessed to have their songs become Hits, It's no wonder they call her a hit maker.

@9:43 Who care though.

Drake is in his own heaven being up close and so personal to the Pop Princess.

He will never admit it, but deep down Chris is madder then four Pit Bull dogs, right now.

Not a fan of the song or new album but I do like seeing Rihanna win. Especially after what seemed like was some behind the scenes sabotage going on.
