I've always had a dislike for prince when I was a child, because I felt he was trying to compete with Michael Jackson....and I loooooved me some Michael Jackson..lol

anyway, i still didnt like prince till this day because he pushed the effeminate agenda HARD...thats why you got the young thugs of this generation....wearing ridiculous feminine attire, while at the same time trying to act like he a straight dude, all because he has kids

I love me some Prince, but only Michael had me excited at 5 years old because I got a pair of loafers and the "making of thriller" vhs.

Rest in peace Prince. He was an extraordinarily talented man.

I was mature enough to like them both. They both got me equally excited when i knew they would be on TV. Prince's music spoke to me, it was more sensual. I liked Michael for other reasons.

Bullshit, 8:03. Prince wasn't on any fucking agenda to feminize men. He dressed in his own unique way and didn't try to influence anyone to copy him. Matter of fact, everything he did was unique and unexpected. His talent was boundless, and though I appreciated Michael's talent, he could not rock a fucking guitar or half the instruments Prince mastered in his career. There is and never will be a comparison.

@11:48

Agreed. There was no "agenda" with Prince, he was HIMSELF.

I liked Lrince's art but not his politics. Prince only used light skinned or white women as leads in his videos.
Even the group The Time had Alexander O'Neal as lead. Then when it was time to go national Prince put Morris Day as the front man and had Jerome as Morris' valet/butler/flunky.
Same with Prince's group The Family. Who was out front!? Light Briggs and damn near whites.

Prince was not pro black that's for damn sure. But his work ethic and music was amazing.

^^
Just because Prince had no personal "agenda" doesn't mean that the PTB utilized his music, talent, influence, and androgyny to propagate certain images/behaviours/orientations. Prince allegedly stated that is why he stayed out of the limelight and avoided hollyweird parties because geared toward promoting said "agendas."

Actually Prince got more politically black in the last 10 -15 years.
He spoke about Chem trails on Tavis Smiley.
Funny thing is,THE Gay folks embrace him but Prince became Jehovah's Witness, he denounced the lifestyle.

Patriotic as well, go listen to "Free","America" and " Ronnie Talk To Russia" .

Thanks for sharing that truth @1:33. Alexander O'Neal said out of his own mouth that Prince removed him as lead singer of the Time bc he was too dark...but Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis counld't deny his talent and gave him a shot as a solo star.

Prince was an AMAZING talent, but that nigga was gay and colorstuck.
