MICHAEL JACKSON WAS AND IS STILL THE KING!

A king begets a Prince. However Prince was more of a genius imo

You must become a Prince before you're King.
Prince is the greatest rock/funk/pop/soul star our universe will ever see.

Yasss honey! I use to buy this magazine on my life. My favorite covers had New Edition on it though.

I've been crying for days about Prince. Something ain't right about our living legends just dying like this.

I never got this comparison. They are in their own league. Prince just didn't have the appeal that MJ had. Don't get me wrong, Prince was the shit...but I was DEVASTATED when MJ died. I cried for days and couldn't listen to his music without crying for a minute. When I was little and needed to calm down...the moonwalker tape was put into the VCR. His videos were epic, and the whole family sat in the living room to watch the premiere.

I mean the effect MJ had on people was amazing. He brought grown men to tears just seeing him. MJ was like a supernatural being.

THAT'S why there's no comparison.

@2:07

Prince was supernatural too. You know they lit up the empire state building and eiffel tower in PURPLE when he died? Who else would they do that for?.....

I lived for the pull-outs in this mag. New Edition all day baby! I was a MJ lover back then. Now it's all about Prince in my mature years. The one that got away ;-)

PS. You really can't compare the two. Two different sounds.

@2:29 Purple was Prince's Color. I am happy and appreciate the love he received. It was apropos. However, when MJ died also, the whole damn world lost their mind. People in the deepest crevice of Africa cried for Michael. Michael was on some other shit. Let's not pretend but let's not denote the two. They were both geniuses. Just fucked up how they are both gone. Smdh!
