Afrikaa Bambaataa Calls Child Molestation Allegations Crazy

Last week Afrikaa Bambaataa, founder of pioneering Hip Hop collective The Zulu Nation, was forced to step down after a growing number of men came forward claiming he sexually molested them while they were underage teens back in the 70s and 80s [click here if you missed that].

Bambaata speaks out calling allegations crazy...

In the first part of a two-part interview Afrika Bambaataa tells Fox 5 in New York
"I never abused nobody. You know, it just sounds crazy to people to say that, to hear 'you abused me.'"
"You know my thing is you know all my people back then, you know the hundreds of people that been around me. If something like that happened, why you never went to none of them?"
“Many of the people never want to speak to my other members who were of that era. They just going along with he say, she say....what they call gossip."
