Lee Daniels Cut From Richard Pryor Biopic

From as far back as 2014 director Lee Daniels has been attached to the big screen Richard Pryor biopic starring Mike Epps, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Hudson and Eddie Murphy [click here if you missed that].

Not anymore...

Insiders tell Deadline The Weinstein Company gave Lee Daniels the heave ho after his latest TV pilot starring Queen Latifah got picked up by Fox.

The highly anticipated biopic had already been pushed back several times to accommodate Lee's hit Fox series Empire and another TV show was just too much.

The current cast is expected to remain in place.

I'm okay with this; Lee Daniels would have made it another "Butler" type movie. (I'm not ashamed of the day's work many Black people did to support their families, but Lee Daniels seems bent on perpetuating stereotypes in almost all of his projects.)

That said, where's Paul Mooney and what does he think of this? He said "Precious" was "written by demons" and is always clocks 100% real tea on what's really going on in Hollywood.

That said, Jennifer Hudson needs elocution lessons. She sounds like she's got marbles in her mouth when she speaks.

Thanks to the Most High he is not a part of this. Now it won't be over the top and demonic acc to Paul Mooney.

Good! Knowing Lee and his tactics, he would have slipped some undercover gay shit in the movie that would have people side eyeing Prayor Legacy
