Snow on the Bluff Star Arrested In Atlanta

Snow on the Bluff star Curtis 'Snow' Ward arrested in Atlanta after S.W.A.T stand-off at his grandfather's funeral...

From WALB
According to Linda Adams, who said she was there from the beginning, Ward appeared extremely agitated. She said he was using profane language and creating such a prolonged disturbance, someone at the funeral felt it was necessary to call 911. Adams said she is not the one who called police.
When police arrived, Ward hid in the women's bathroom, according to the Adams.
She said officers told everyone to get out of the church, and the suspect was alone in the building for the majority of the standoff.
Police originally received information about Ward being armed, but Adams said she never saw him with a gun.
After unsuccessfully trying to convince him to come out, police used tear gas to try and subdue him.
Shortly after the gas was used, police were seen escorting Ward out of the church in handcuffs to an ambulance.
Ward is known for making a low budget movie in the neighborhood called 'Snow on the Bluff.'

Never heard of this movie or this person. But I gotta wonder if this wasn't some kind of humiliation ritual (as his grandad funeral no less). If he blows up after this, y'all know why. Don't say I didn't call it from the beginning.

Oh, and how did he get all beat up??? This Linda Adams person had all the play by play, but didn't have the details on that part.

Yeah, okay...

Snow on the Bluff is about the neighborhood just West of downtown Atlanta, north of the new falcons stadium (vine city/english avenue), which is called "the Bluff", that is the central "hub" for the heroine outbreak in the Atlanta area. I know of the film but never saw it myself.

Apparently there were arrest warrants out on him and someone who knew he was obviously be there tipped the cops off.
