The Carmichael Show Renewed

NBC renews The Carmichael Show starring David Alan Grier and Loretta Devine...

This week it was announced that The Carmichael Show was being renewed for an 'undetermined' amount of episodes for season two.

The Carmichael Show follows the life of stand-up comedian Jerrod Carmichael, his therapist-in-training girlfriend Maxine, old-school father Joe, Jesus-praising mother Cynthia, always-got-a-new hustle brother Bobby and Bobby's outspoken estranged wife Tiffany.

The Carmichael Show airs Sunday nights on NBC.

never heard of it. i wonder if it's any good... Seems like it could be funny, in the way that "are we there yet" was.

Glad it is performing well. It comes on around the same time Walking Dead and RHOA airs. Mainly watch On Demand, it's a cool family show.

I only watch this show in support of Chi-Town comedian Lil Rel. My husband and I have been following him around the city's comedy circuit for years and he grew up w a friend of mine.

But

Loretta Devine and David Alan Grier coon WAY too hard for me to get through an episode. I mean the kind of cooning that makes your flesh crawl. It could be a decent show, but the eye buckin, word draggin they do...its almost like they're singing when they talk. Its terrible.

Everybody has an opinion this is a great family show that represents us well. I watch it every Sunday and have not been disappointed @12:08 I agree I hope more people catch on and start watching. The show Crowded that come on after it is not bad either

It's actually a really great show. Good, clean family fun that tackles social issues.

I'm glad I found out about this show a few weeks back. I actually enjoy it. I don't find DAG or LD to be coonish. I like the subject matter that's discussed weekly. For the person who likes "Crowded" it was cancelled.
