Judge Joe Brown Barred from Practicing Law

Judge Joe Brown has been barred from practicing law in the state of Tennessee...

According to reports TV Judge Joe Brown has been placed on disability inactive status by order of the Supreme Court, which means he is temporarily disabled and incapacitated from practicing law.

Reps for Judge Brown insist he was placed on inactive status due to complications from Type II Diabetes "and the effects of prescribed medication for the condition combined with hypertension and stress."

Judge Brown may appeal the ruling once he can prove he is no longer being effected.

Fun Fact: In 2014 Judge Joe Brown was sentenced to five days in jail on contempt of court charges after going ballistic on a Tennessee court magistrate [click here if you missed that].
