Kanye West Fans Cause Thousands in Damage

Early Sunday morning rapper Kanye West drew a crowd of over 5000 to the 1,500 capacity Webster Hall theater in New York after Tweeting fans he was about to perform a "pop-up" concert [click here if you missed that].

Eventually the show was shut down because too many people showed up and apparently the swelling crowd had been standing on the cars and trucks that lined the streets outside the club...

According to reports multiple residents near Webster Hall have reported smashed windshields and dented in car hoods and roofs from people trying to get a better look at Yeezy as he rode through the streets hanging out of the sunroof of his car after his pop-up show was canceled.

He is pathetic - he knew exactly what he was doing because every person out @ that hour would stop by for a free concert (small venue too). Not impressed with his dangerous antics but definitely think he should pay residents for the destruction and the upheaval of their evening.

Seriously, who are these ppl who lose their minds over a celebrity who is just the same human being as you or me? I never understood the fanatic phenomenon. Not even how ppl would faint and scream their lungs out over Michael Jackson, although in terms of talent he certainly was more dynamic than Kanye. But all this for Kanye West? That's some true mind control, black magic, celebrity idol worship right there.

SAD...

Oh and Kanye should be made to pay for all damages. I'm sure some ordinance was broken for this impromptu show of his.
