Live Nation Pulls the Plug on Six Rap Concerts

Last week shots rang out backstage at a T.I. concert in New York leaving three wounded and one dead after a fight broke out amongst the rappers and the V.I.P. guests in the green room at Irving Plaza [click here if you missed that].

Now Live Nation is putting the breaks on Hip Hop...

This week Live Nation announced,
"In light of last week's tragic event, we are acting with an overabundance of caution and coordinating a going forward strategy with the New York Police Department that may also include a curfew."
"Because these discussions with New York Police Department are ongoing, we will be postponing a few of our upcoming shows."
The rappers affected include YG, Vince Staples, Black Pistol Fire, Mac Miller, Appetite for Destruction, and Joey Bada$$.

Meanwhile the NYPD has denied having any discussions with Live Nation.
