I happen to like the blank. Something different for a change. Maybe some people didn't chime in because they didn't know how to approach it and were waiting for someone else to take the lead. Maybe it is better that some stay away. Maybe some are limited and something like this is where they draw the line. It's sort of like a post about nothing and they are faced with trying to make something out of it.

I don't need a lead topic to get a conversation started. I have strayed away from a topic from time to time, although my comments have been deleted for, I believe, being just a little too BLACK or outspoken, or maybe posting a link to someplace that the moderator(s) did not approve of.

Unfortunately the current social climate makes it a little difficult to ignore certain things. Some people famous for one thing or another were not necessarily willingly thrust into the fray and basically forced to go hard or go home. I can see things getting a little challenging and tricky for politicians, athletes, celebrities, and otherwise those who make a living off of being able to make people content, laugh, watch, dance, thrilled, sing-along, etc. So what? Most of them would not be where they are if not for the masses. There will be times where people want action and justice, not entertainment and rhetoric. Entertainment and speeches are not a one size fit all and at some point celebrities and politicians will need to shit or get off the pot. They won't be able to entertain or smooth talk away social ills. Put in the work or take a hike.
