Brandy Bashed by Her Own Record Label

Back in March R&B singer Brandy filed a lawsuit against her record label Chameleon Entertainment demanding to be let out of her contract [click here if you missed that].

After Brandy refiled the suit in New York, the label calls her antics a desperate plea for attention...

A rep for Chameleon Entertainment tells TMZ ...
"Brandy's allegations are a desperate ploy to drum up publicity instead of facing facts -- her best days are behind her," and that, "[Chameleon] took a risk "signing an artist that hasn't had a chart single success since the early 2000's."

You must have thought she had something left in her or you wouldn't have signed her in the first place. Bye you Devils!!!!!

If they feel like her best days are behind her, then why won't they let her out her contract so she can go else where? They're trying to trash her but ended up making themselves look like the crooks they are. If she's such a has been then 1) why did they sign her and 2) why won't they let her go?

Thats cold blooded. Labels usually play nice in public. These cats must be real on real

We don't know if she had hits or not since the label isn't allowing her music to come out. Brandi better go Indie.

I'm baffled that Brandi, a veteran in the biz would have these kind of problems. She would've been better off making music independently & use her star power to promote...this situation looks like she should've never fired her moms
