Tatyana Ali Met New Husband Online

Back in 2009 actress Essence Atkins married a man she met on Match.com [click here if you missed that].

Newlywed Tatyana Ali just did the same thing...

From Page Six
Actress Tatyana Ali has married Stanford professor Dr. Vaughn Rasberry.
People magazine reports Ali and Rasberry were married Sunday in a small ceremony in Beverly Hills.
The magazine reports the couple met online about two years ago and are expecting their first child together.
Tatyana found her new husband on eHarmony.com

Glad it worked for her. The IT guy at my job met his wife on eHarmony, too. I need to just pony up some money because the free sites (OkCupid, etc.) are a real sh*tshow of borderline harassment. Best wishes to her/What a nice story.

Lol, i met my boyfriend online. We've been going out for over a year! They say not to talk to strangers online because you never know but hell you never know about the people you meet in person.

For some people eharmony works. For some, they have no business being on there.

I met my fiancé on match last year!!! I love online dating. It opens you up to people you may never meet in passing.

Lol I met my husband at birth. Both born on the same day, our mothers were best friends and raised us up together.

@11:14 pm, that's a sweet story. I guess the two of you were meant for each other. I met my true love once I STOPPED looking. I was so fed up I told God it was up to him cause I was tired of the games. I met my husband to-be about 3 or 4 months later. He just walked up to me in a restaurant, looking handsome, and introduced himself to me. And here we are 15+ years later.

@11:14 & @12:39, both of your stories have me here gushing. I'm so happy for you both. :-)

On topic, I've met 3 guys online in person, and dated 1 of them for a year and a half. I tend to find that when I meet them in person they look slightly different to their pictures. I feel like giving it another try now lol. I've always been sceptical about online dating, because I feel that a person you meet online vs a person you meet out and about can deceive you a lil more easily.

I wonder what Essence' and Tatyana' men thought when they found out both women were famous? Could you imagine meeting a celeb online?

Eharmony (it probably depends on your locale) I feel is more for ppl that are yt, Christian, and very conservative. It's probably just my city, which is Pittsburgh, and we tend to have a heavier population of rednecks lol. But I didn't have very good luck with eharmony. The good thing about eharmony verses match is that they give you an opportunity to cancel your subscription without a hassle or a phone call. I've heard that it's difficult to unsubscribe from match.

@6:05a Hey neighbor, I'm in pgh too. Penn Hills. The dating sukcs here. I considered online dating but never pulled the trigger. Something about screams desparate to me, I don't know...but thanks for the warning on eharmony.
