Excellent show! Excellent writing & character development. This is the guy that directed Six Feet Under. Oprah moved on from Tyler and his bull shit productions..

So @ 11:23, it's not chitlin' circuit foolishness? I was avoiding it because I don't want to see another poorly produced coon and buffoon fest. I'll have to check it out.

(I try to support artists of color, but Tyler Perry's movies have been particularly horrible as of late.)

I'm happy to hear it. This is an excellent show. Nothing like Tyler Perry's work.

I do like the show but I have a problem with the picture that is shown in when it comes on tv. A picture of slaves and at the very top a white Jesus. I don't get it. Wtf is going on with Oprah. Jesus was a black man.

@ Ron. That's just Hollywood putting out subliminal messages to Negroes like all Shows and Movies. Negroes who are the real Israelites of the bible and went into Slavery for disobeying God's laws(Deuteronomy 28.Leviticus 26)now are worshiping White Jesus images after physical slavery. It goes over most Negroes head but anybody that's awaken to the truth of who Negroes really are already knew what the Opening Credit was about. Hollywood put the same subliminal hint in the show Underground and the new Roots mini series.

I'm so happy to hear this I was getting a little ancy about this show coming to an end. For those of you who have not had the pleasure of watching this show let me just say (and I'm one of the most critical people you will ever meet) This show is sooooooo good! The acting is on point, the story line is compelling and addictive and who ever cast the actors kudos to you! This is the break out hit of 2016 and it should be. Tyler had absolutely nothing to do worth this and I kind of think he knows his time has run it course. HAHN is mediocre at best the acting alone makes me cringe every time I watch an episode, but that's just me. Sorry about the long rant but This is a good show and deserves all the accolades it's receiving!
