HERE FOR IT!!!!
Yes!! This is what I'm talkin about!
I am SO excited about this movie; I read the article back in high school in "Science" magazine it's time for this movie! No more slave narratives or Leslie Jones cooning! It's time!
I'm so glad to see this moving is being made. I'm tired of our people being portrayed as slaves, drug addicts, drug dealers, pimps and prostitutes. Aka Power. No other race play those type of roles but black people.
This looks good... Hopefully this dosnt go unnoticed like when Taraji did "From the Rough"... Which was also good.
Hooray!!Black people Rock!!
Ok i'm already planning dinner after this movie. i'm excited and I can't wait. Another moment in black history that has been well hidden. I think people with children should take them to see this. This is very inspiring!! Something positive.
I'm going to support this opening weekend. Like you @12:18 ready for new material
Ha!hollywood realized they was losing money, cause nobody was going to see those slave movies.Black people DO NOT BUY NOTHING DURING CHRISTMAS OR ANY TIME OF THE FREAKING SO-CALLED HOLIDAYSShut this abominable country Down!!!
Watching opening night. I'm tired of seeing mammies, pimps and hoes.
Love it. I think I may go see it in full academic regalia! They need to know who we are.
Learned something new today, can't wait to go see.
NOW THIS IS A MOVIE
I heard about these women when I was in high school. I'm glad this is not another slavery/slavery based movie. I think making movies about slavery should be retired and more movies like this made.
Taraji's lip color in the first photo!!!!!! I need.
LOL blacks will always play slaves...that our history, pimps and drugs dealers that was our come up to level the playing field for the mean green. Those roles will always be made and niggas will play them that want to be paid....they got bills too! Hollywood will not make any other movies that portray us as well rounded and educated. Only blacks must come up with that money to re-make what we accomplished in history that is not taught in school. But a bunch of niggas can't put up 100 bucks without needed it back to buy some bullshit. so on that note...we will always have slave, and drug movies.
^^^@2:34For a "black" that Loves to call other blacks the "N" word and point out what wrong with ALL as if you took a literal face - to- face Survey.....You come on this BLACK blog Daily babbling the same negative nonsense.I feel sorry for you .If everybody else is beneath you then do is a favor and Bounce !Your foolish negativity will not be missed.
Can't wait to see this!!
Would love to see this even though Janelle Monae is a snotty bitch that was desperate to be an Illuminati puppet to sell records. No surprise she became tight with Solange and that Knowles cult: birds of a feather. She needs to humble herself and find better producers. I used to love her, not anymore.
Eh, I don't trust Fox or Hollywood in general, so I will hold off seeing it until I read some (black) reviews that say it's worth it. I'm not getting excited about this yet...nor spendin my coins on it until further confirmation.
Looking forward to this movie featuring the true story of these amazing women!!
