Songwriter Clears Up Beyonce Becky Lyric Confusion

Turns out the most talked about lyric on the entire Lemonade album wasn't even written by Beyonce.

The author of the infamous 'Becky with the good hair' lyric clears up any connection to Jay Z's alleged mistress Rachel Roy...

On the night of the Lemonade visual album premier on HBO Jay Z's rumored mistress Rachel Roy inserted herself into the narrative by referring to herself as having 'good hair' just hours after the song Sorry hit the airways containing the lyric, "He only wants me when I'm not there/He betta call Becky with the good hair [click here if you missed that].'

Diana Gordon, who co-wrote Sorry with Beyonce for the Lemonade album, expresses her shock at the backlash that ensued.
'I was like, "What day in age from that lyric do you get all of this information? Is it really telling you all that much, accusing people?"'
'I don't think she expected it."
'I saw her at her Formation tour. She had a pyjama party; we laughed, we danced, we hugged it out. But I didn't say much about it at the time because I wanted to give her space."
'The idea started in my mind but it's not mine anymore. It was very funny and amusing to me to watch it spread over the world."

This Lemonade business has brought the worst out in Black women. Black woman empowering my ass. It brought out nothing but the bitterness, low self esteem, insecurities and hatred in Black women that idolize this ass-shaking, wig wearing, drag queen, thick neck, Creole hoodrat. Then she exploits African religion and embraces the demonic sides of voodoo, exploits Black female work and history to further brainwash Black women. This shit ain't empowering! It's empowering to damaged beyond repair females, teen age girls, gay black men that wish they were women, and hoodrats.

Beyonce continues to laugh her demonic ass all the way to the bank after making money off of Black female bitterness and low self esteem.

"Becky with good hair"? That's not empowering. All that does is brew hatred and now you got bitter ass, angry, hateful Black girls and women on social media hashtagging that shit to any white or light-skinned woman they can attack.

Beyonce promotes nothing good. She promotes vanity, materialism, self-hatred and low self esteem. If she was truly an empowering woman she would have left that ugly ass husband of hers, give the onesies a break to wear something appropriate when singing Freedom songs, not try to take other womens' shine and not try to make shit about her every time some great happens to another artist.

And YES, she probably made Kanye go up on stage BOTH TIMES to take away other artists' shine when she didn't win awards!

Who cares about this dumb as album but unhappy Black women and brain dead Bey Hive stans?

@ 10:46; Damn, for someone who can't stand her, you sure do have allot to say. I think you might be the one who has issues with vanity, materialism, self-hatred and low self esteem....which is probably why you feel so strongly about it. Go head, bow down to your Queen....we won't

Anonymous said...

10:46; yo not only did you click on the story to read it but you also wrote a story about how it made you feel. Brings truth to the old saying...haters are your biggest fans!!!

@10:55 & 11:03

Shouldn't you two be making lunch for your illegitimate kids?

Anonymous said...

10:46/11:03; Solange get off the blogs chile!

Anonymous said...

She didn’t clear up anything. Plus what does her hugging Bey at a pajama party have to do with the lyrics?

So whose really crazy the fans who defend their idol or the people who paint all black women with a broad brush because of their hate for an artist?

I'm willing to bet that all of the above would lose their mind if they actually met said artist.

11.11 talking about people kids is low. about as low as your IQ obviously. Dumb bird

Bey OWNED those lyrics. Who cares who wrote it.

Anonymous said...

I see Bey's PR has made it. @10:46 I agree with you 100%. Ignore the fleahive.

10:46 AM TRUTH!

Her fans are more than fans they are obsessed, she's not curing cancer or giving back to her community so why the love? Yes, she can dance, NO! she can't really sing and that's about all she's got.

I need people get obsessive with giving and helping their community the way they go hard for Beweavable and give her $600 for tickets to her show. GTFOH

Rihanna wins again...yay

Anonymous said...

@10:46 Nope, I feel empowered when I listen to it because in typical Destiny's Child/Beyonce' fashion that's what it was meant to do.

Now, take back your power and at least write dissertations on topics you enjoy OR better yet topics that are truly harming our community I.e. Black on black crime, police brutality...hell diabetes or down-low men...ooh or maybe this h o e s be winning mentality of today. There are truly hundreds of topics that are far more detrimental to society to use that energy on.

Can we not make blanket statements and include stans of all colors in this discussion? I live in a predominantly white gay neighborhood in DC and white gay men and early 20s white girls are rocking Lemonade like "Thriller" circa 1984. Just stop running down Black women unless you're self-hating or have deep issues. Take a nap and chill

10:46 Please make sure and preface your statement with the word SOME because this Black woman and most of us knew that lemonade shit was another cry for attention from the bot.
I'm not even mad at Bey, she knew her pea brained manstans would buy into her foolery and they did not disappoint. My question is, was it worth it? I know I wouldn't put my husband and family out there like that for no amount of money.

true this woman does not write her songs....... she may change a word or two so she can have her name on the credits........... untalented hack...... she cant even sing. sounds like a goat in heat!!

co sign @ 10:46 and 12:48
tricks and lies of the enemies so that they can take your money and laugh at yall all the way to the bank.

real artists don't resort to gimmicks,
no matter what word you try to use.
the agenda is to make money; and if she gotta bait her fans because they are so thirsty to get into her business, then hats off to her, I guess .. .

drops mic . . . {singing Lauryn Hill's Lost One}

to each their own; but if it works for ya, more power to ya.

the quality of the music is so sophomoric these days it's pathetic, and they are getting the same awards that real artists get for this schlock called music that really can't be sung if you're over 25

that's a song lyric.

I guess it's a little better than

no no no no no no!

um, er, no thanks.
I can over 8 years old and can decipher words, thank ya much.

@1:04 her and Rihanna make my ears bleed
seriously . . . the only song I can even listen to her sing is LOVE ON TOP

Anonymous said...

I knew the carters were trying to sell something also and wasn't interested. It was rather obvious lemonade wasn't even about them but a ploy to capitalize off music about women who deal with men that treat them like ish.

This was the most random ass post!!!

I see Beyoncé is all powerful at least in 10:46am eyes..

I also agree with you 10:46am. Great and accurate comment.
"Becky with the good hair" coming from someone who has this type of hair glued on even while vacationing and "relaxing."
Coming from someone who once confessed that she wishes she was born Latina.
"Becky with the good hair" is also the hash tag many nonblack and mixed chicks use to taunt black women who have issues about their hair. It sends so many negative signals and I cringe at just how ignorant, self loathing and coonish it comes off.

Anonymous said...

Vain and low self-esteem? Can you even do that?

Anonymous said...

^^^^^2:40pm Yes. They call it Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Anonymous said...

Too Little, Too Late

and more concerning:

"Becky" is a racist term identifying white. You are grown now Beyonce and should be doing better in terms of brotherly love.

Anonymous said...

Beyonce and jay are cancers of the community, and pawns of the elite, simple. And first poster you are 100000000% correct.

That lyric reinforces white supremacy and should have never been recorded

Only an idiot would have done so

Anonymous said...

After using the momentum of othersas per her mo
All she did was use the opportunity to spew and reinforce white supremwcy which isherjob

And of course remind that she's not really black black
It's a shame if any real bw supports this garbage as it is actually a psychological attack

That last thing this underdeveloped being needs is to be on a pedestal

Anonymous said...

Hell she didn't write any parts of it just as she is always adding her name

Anonymous said...

I meant 1046 is 1000000% right

Beydummy is one of those mentally diseased people who think being part cave beast is a privilege

All colorstruck people do, if you really knew history (why they keep us ignorant) you would know the privilege is the melanin

Anonymous said...

Now??? After all the controversy has died down? After all the money has been made. Why is this person coming forward now??
Oh the behive is being investigated right?

Shame om us for thinking Copy Cat Carla wrote her own song lol.

Anonymous said...

So after all the smoke clears all we have is white supremist dribble

I thought the fans said this was black power, idiots just like her idol

@12:46 Lemonade and Thriller (the best-selling album in history thank you!) shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence.

Anonymous said...

An ofcourse the media will continue discussing this as they planned as every time its mentioned it degrades bw as planned

Bouncy done her job again so she will continue to get scraps and a lifestyle while owning nothing

Anonymous said...

And of course ww love bouncy she messages that bw really want to be ww

Anonymous said...

Boosting their self esteem while tearing down the original woman

Anonymous said...
