Will Smith Confirms Longstanding Rumors

For years and years there have been rumors that Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett were headed for divorce [click here here and here if you missed that].

In a new interview Will admits there were some REALLY dark days in his marriage...

Will tells The Sun UK
"I've done a lot of marriage counselling. What happens in a marriage once you do counselling, the truth comes out. And you sit across from your wife and you've said all of your truth and she has said all of her truth."
"You look at each other and you can't imagine you could ever possibly love each other again now the truth is out. It creates a dark moment. But for me it's the dark before the dawn."
"When the truth comes out and people have to say who they are and what they think, you get to know who they are. I think that's the cleansing before you get to the other side that is understanding and moving forward in our relationship."

I know one of those dark moments were realizing how fucked up Willow and Jaden are.

i like this. it's nobody's business but he get's a pass bc i'm a huge supporter of marriage counseling. I wish more people would consider it, especially if you have children. can you imagine being their marriage counselor? you would probably get some really juicy gossip lol.

What dark days? They knew they were swingers from the beginning.

Was the counselor a scientologist too? Did Jayda tell him of all the women she sleeps with? Did he tell her he loves Duane more than her? Did anyone take blame for Jayden's batman suit? Did he apologize for for wild wild west and suicide squad? So many questions...

I'm also confused on why two people who have been together for almost twenty years and are heavily rumored to be into same sex relationships have "secrets". Everything should've been on the table years ago.

AMEN @ 11:02. On it's best day, marriage is work. period. Unless you have been married, you don't know about the dark and hard days...even for people that have been together for 20 years.

@6:36 because you may not always be confident or comfortable in sharing your innermost thoughts. Heck I'd be more concerned if he said they never went to counseling or had any major problems. This is called marriage. You have issues and you work through them together. Counseling is great because it will cause you to think about deeper reasons as to why you're doing or saying something and gives your a better perspective on how to fix it.
