Lil Wayne Furious Over Tyga's G.O.O.D Deal

Last week Kanye West announced rapper Tyga was the latest signee to his G.O.O.D Music label [click here if you missed that].

Too bad Tyga still belongs to Young Money...

According to reports Young Money CEO Lil Wayne is calling foul on Cash Money CEO Birdman releasing Tyga from his contract without consulting with Weezy first.

Lil Wayne is currently involved in a $50 million lawsuit against Cash Money claiming Birdman squandered a $100 million advance from Universal Music Group they were supposed to share and for refusing to release Tha Carter V.

But does he really need to run it past Weezy, since Weezy lable is under his. Doesn't that make Birdman the BOSS.

@Sunni

That's where the confusion lies. Birdbitch had Wayne thinking he was signing a partnership deal when it was anything but. Poor Wayne.

No it's still a partnership birdman owns 51% and Wayne owns 49%. Birdman has the controlling interest but you still have to consult the other partner and diff individuals on the board. Since Universal gave the advance to Wayne and Baby and baby spent 70$ million, then he will have to pay Wayne the 20 million $ diff plus his 8$ million for the advance for the carter V. But not the 51$ million unless it's damages and other fees.
