Mayte Garcia Memoir Gets a Release Date

Last year Prince's ex-wife Mayte Garcia announced she was writing a book about her marriage to the late rocker Prince [click here if you missed that].

Mayte's book has a release date...

This week Hachette Books announced Mayte's memoir 'The Most Beautiful' is scheduled for a April 2017 release.

Mayte and Prince were married on Valentine's Day 1996 and divorced four years later after the devastating loss of their infant child and a subsequent miscarriage.

Prince died of an accidental drug overdose at Paisley Park studios April 21, 2016.

Matte was too young to know and understand Prince when he 'hired' her. I admired him for the musician he was, but when it came to women he could be something else. Mayte became everything he wanted her to be and he became very possessive of her while maintaining other 'hired' help. Long story short, after all was said and done, he kicked her to the curb after she got too old. Out of all the others she has never said anything negative about Prince, but what I know of his consistent character he was was beautiful and sexy as h*ll, BUT honestly, he had a my way or no way personality.

And no, I'm not Mayte! Lol. He just did her pretty dirty during and after her pregnancy and marriage.

She is still as stunning as ever. And knows the real inside story. For the rest of us, Please enjoy aerial drone footage of Paisley Park and First Avenue in this Prince memorial video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZvG16AYCq4

Obviously it's for the money. Now that Prince is dead I guess the nondisclosure/gag order is dead as well. She is free to talk all she wants to, but the info in the book will reflect the past as she chooses to recount & tell it. People most times have a way of recollecting the past in a light that makes them look their best so it may not all be accurate. Prince can't refute anything stated. If his death was nefarious as some believe it to have been I think she better be careful of what she tells. I know that it was reported not too long prior to his death that she had finally decided to get rid of some of the things he'd given to her during their marriage (i.e. clothes, china with the "love symbol" on it,etc.). Supposedly some was listed on ebay? If it were me I'd be kicking myself considering how his untimely demise occurred not too long after that decision was made. Someone is now a proud & lucky owner of some fine memorabilia. Personally, I would much have rather read Prince's memoir which he announced in January. I also agree that those damn gemini men can be divos and hard to live with or love.
