Omarion Sued Over Chris Brown Track


R&B singer Omarion accused of stealing the music for his hit single 'Pose to Be...'

According to The Jasmine Brand Omarion and DJ Mustard are being sued by BMG Rights Management accusing them of illegally using the beat for Omarion's smash hit single 'Pose to Be' released on Atlantic Records.

Apparently when original beat was produced by DJ Mustard for Chris Brown's 2014 single 'Came to Do' ft. Akon, one of the songwriters assigned 50% of the rights to BMI and they want their cut.

BMI is seeking $150k for every instance 'Pose to Be' infringed on 'Came to Do' and no less than $300k in actual damages.
