Oprah Relaunching Her Talk Show?

Insiders claim Oprah Winfrey is itching to bring back her iconic talk show...

From Globe Magazine
“Oprah is hell-bent resurrecting a new version of her TV interview show,” a source says.
She’s reportedly ready to spend a staggering $500 million on a re-launch.
“The bottom line is that Oprah loves the limelight. She misses all the attention that comes with doing blockbuster interviews."

Just bring back Oprah's Next Chapter for celebrity interviews. No need for the talk show.

Yes that was a bad interview but Oprah is still the number one interviewer out there, barring Diane Sawyer. Plenty of folks to be interviewed. She could've got the Bobby Brown interview (and asked him about the stuff Whitney told her in her interview years ago), the Olympic folks, still could get Trump, Hillary, Chris Brown (imagine the fuckery), Lauryn Hill, Kanye West (again, the fuckery). Make it happen Oprah!

12:11 All the good Oprah has done and all the iconic moments she had on her talk show through out the years, you can't look at her the same because of one boring interview? Lol ok

imo her show jumped the shark for me when she supported obama (i voted for him, so don't come for me) but she is delusional in my opinion because she pissed off probably half of her supporters and then wondered why her rating slipped? idc how much money she has, she does not have too much common sense...everyone knows you don't talk about religion or politics at work...even if you own the businees...straight nut!

Yes, Harpo's platform for the introduction of the anti christ is much needed. She is angling to be his spokesperson you know

@1:36 I worded it wrong, that interview left a bad taste in my mouth, but the interviews to follow i feel were real cliche and just her way of keeping with jonses, so yea i havent looked at her the same especially the interviews following that....ppl she began to interview, Usher, kardashians, Lindsay Lohan, all stories we heard about and do care for, she got lazy and basic....

Why would it cost up to half a billion dollars to jumpstart an existing concept?

I think she is a horrible interviewer - she talks waayyyyytoo much and often attempts to answer the questions for her guests

Didn't she go out on top???

Why come back and possible mess that up? Are people asking for the show to return? Had she done a market survey to see if the public wants this? Or is it about ego?

Can be the money - she had plenty and no dependents rk leave it to anyway.

*shrug*

I agree with 3:50.
Oprah towards the end was a terrrible interviewer. She wanted to be heard too much and was partial to certain celebrities. Some interviews where she could have really gone hard and got us some real answers, she just licked ass.

3:50...Thank you!!! Asking questions, then cutting them off mid-answer. Highly annoying.

She rubbed me the wrong way when she had the cast of Crash on her show. She asked everyone about their careers, but when she got to Ludacris, she asked why he referred to women as hos in his music. Cause hos exist! The question was so irrelevant.

I loooove me some oprah. However, I never saw her as some hard hitting interviewer. Actually she was more the opposite and that seemed to be why so many MAJOR celebs and ones that were clearly going through something in the media at the time would only sit down with her.

What drew me to Oprah was how emotional she could get with her guests and would basicly have a convo with them which allowed them to open up and spill they own dam tea.

I remember she had interviewed Trump back in the day and had actually asked him about running for president. He responded by saying he would only run if he knew he would win. I would looove for her to bring that interview full circle.
