Star Jones is Taking No Prisoners

Back in 2008 Star Jones was famously fired from daytime talk show The View after executive producer Barbara Walters got fed up with Star's shameless, seemingly endless, unauthorized on-air begging for corporate sponsors to host her extravagant wedding to banker Al Reynolds [click here and here if you missed that].

It's pay back time...

From Globe Magazine
VH1’s upcoming drama series “Daytime Divas” is a thinly veiled take-down on Star’s time on “The View,” based on her 2011 novel “Satan’s Sisters,” and insiders tell Globe that no one is spared!
“Star’s team has gathered together characters that resemble Barbara Walters, Rosie O’Donnell, Lisa Ling, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and even Raven-Symone’!” a source spills.
“It’s no coincidence that this is set to debut as her former TV home celebrates its 20th anniversary – she’s cashing in and getting her digs in at the same time!”

Star you waited until Barbara Walters was senile and couldn't defend herself to go in on her?

GOOD! Google all the people Barbara Walters has done dirty over the past 50 years and you'll see this is just desserts. Star was out of line with the begging, but BW tried to blackball Star. Messing with someone's livelihood is a no go.

Stay away from the light, curly, and tender light-skinned dudes and go for it, Star!

This is false... Because Vanessa Williams has already been cast in the "Barbara Walters" role... and they look nothing a like.

I'm going to watch it, but remember Star was not fired...she quit and blindsided Barbara, which was worse for her career because she was blackballed for being unreliable and rogue...she did not get fired.

Star Jones and gay Al wedding was just a joke. Can't wait to see who she throws under the bus.

It seems like a show people will watch a few episodes than the viewership will drop off
