Timbaland Leaves Empire


Timbaland leaving his role as musical director for the hit series Empire...

According to reports Timbaland is being replaced next season by music producer Rodney Jerkins and singer/ songwriter Ester Dean.

Johntá Austin, Makeba Roddick and Jesse St. John will also be joining the team that includes returning songwriters Ne-Yo and J.R. Rotem.

Good, didn't think he was ever right for this...hope the music improves although they had a few (very few) songs I liked.

^^^unless the acting improves and the story line gets more realistic, i'm still not watching this trash. doesn't matter who they have directing the music. they need to fire Lee Daniels. he sucks. (every pun intended)

I stopped after dude slept with Alicia Keys. They were gone for a long ass winter break, and I lost interest.

Good move. His 2nd season was weak. I was saying they should rotate producers each season to keep the music fresh!
