Crash Passengers Ran Shawty Lo's Pockets

Last month Atlanta trap rapper Shawty Lo was killed in a high speed crash after losing control of his car on the way home from the strip club [click here if you missed that].

Shockingly the two women in the car at the time were allowed to empty his pockets after the crash...

According to the Fulton County medical examiner's report, obtained by TMZ, Shawty Lo's passengers asked responding officers if they could retrieve cash from Shawty's pockets and were allowed to do so, leaving behind $16.

The ME report also says Lo emitted a strong odor of alcohol when his body bag was opened and that a prescription pill bottle labeled Promethazine, but actually contained Percocet and Vicodin, was found on his person.

Shawty Lo leaves behind 11 children and 10 baby mamas.

who were these women? how was he ejected from the driver's seat but they were able to walk away unscathed with pockets full of cash? Sounds fishy to me?

This is saddening.

Hmmm..now why would they specifically asked to retrieve cash?! This sounds fabricated already. The car was mangled and he was ejected from vehicle. You'd be too shook to immediately think grimey & once investigators on the scene ain't nobody touching nada. Plus if they we're coherent to be grimey, then why not strip him of jewels, drugs and all...

I see 3 possibilities: (1) they did it (2) dirty cop(s) (3) maybe fell out on impact

This probably has happened many times throughout the years. I wonder why theyare reporting it now

Dead dudes get robbed every day B.

1:34 said it all...There is NO love in the game. Some men need to realize these heauxs will step over your dead body for a dollar.

Excuse me, not "men" but "tricks."

Wasn't one of his baby mama's with him? JaiJai or something like that? SMDH

Ain't no AFLAC for heauxs and that ER visit wasn't free...

@12:56, I believe he probably didn't have on a seat belt. That's sad because seat belts do save lives in certain situations. And, if he was as intoxicated as the reports seem to indicate, I would have definitely had mine's on.

He was leaving the strip club so I think it's safe to assume he was riding with hoes and hoes will be hoes. I would be more shocked if they didn't take the money.

And to the person questioning why they survived and he didn't well maybe they had on their seat belts and he didn't. The conspiracy theories are funny though.

This was the 1st thing that came to mind, that the 2 women probably picked his pockets on the scene. Lo was known to carry wads of cash & $100 bills. There has been no mention of who those women were. The accident seems suspicious and was previously reported as a hit n' run. I hope the truth comes out for the sake of his kids, family, homies, and fans who adored him.

He was ejected from the car. Ain't nothing fishy about that. He was more than likely he was drunk, high, and speeding with no seat belt on.

@ 3.46

Now don't you come in here with common sense. Didn’t you see the comments alluding to the fact that this local celebrity was murdered and it's a cover up. Just because he was on social media hours before in the strip club drinking or because drugs were found on him AND his dead body reeked of alcohol by no means does all of that mean he wasn't murdered.

When you're a father of 11, in the strip club at 4 am on a Tuesday, and you ain't on tour, promoting no album. ... there's a problem. #gohome

Although he was a father of 11 he was responsible and caring toward them. I've been watching his videos and I can say this man was real down to earth. It's impressive that he cared about his people and the fame never went to his head. He was so beautifully balanced and a gifted soul. I am saddened that he lost his life so young.
