Laila Ali Clarifies Huffington Post Piece

Last week the late boxing great Muhammad Ali's daughter Lalia Ali was quoted by Huffington Post downplaying the value of the Black Lives Matter movement [click here if you missed that].

Lalia clarifies her stance and slams HuffPo for twisting her words...

Laila writes,
This video is in response to the reaction certain people (an overwhelming amount of people which made it necessary for me to address this!) have had to the recent interview I did for Huffington Post Black Voices on Facebook live. The original interview was 29 min but when they posted it, it was cut down to a 5:40 sec clip and given a very misleading and inaccurate title.
Please watch the entire video and share.

I love Laila Ali...but I was IN love with her daddy. He didn't worry about stepping on toes or being politically correct or even worrying about alienating his fans. He said what he had to say, he said what was real, and in the process...made a lot of black people proud back then. I get what she is saying but let's get real.

AWESOME!! I just love her. The intelligence she exudes is something more people need to try and do.

I'm at work and can't read view he video, but my thoughts on Laila Ali period is that she is arrogant and not in a really nice way. Her arrogance is so much different from her father's...but I'll just let her be great, I don't have to see her on a daily basis, but when I do see her, she always comes off as arrogant, be it a cooking show, dancing with the stars, or her dads funeral...she has a nasty disposition.
