Michel'le Reality Show in the Works

Last week R&B singer Michel'le revealed she had been taking meetings with Oprah Winfrey's OWN network [click here if you missed that].

Now we know why...

According to reports ThinkMedia is shopping a "doc-u-series" about Michel'le and her family.

The unscripted series will pick up with her explosive biopic 'Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge and Michel'le' left off as she battles to overcome her past while moving forward with her career.

Michel'le also has an album due out in January.

I have as much interest in this as I have in the Mickie Howards biopic. These bishes ships done sailed along time ago.

Now I was a Michel'le fan back in the day and I learned a lot about her from watching the movie, but I don't think her own show is necessary. She's STILL 'moving on' from something that happened 15-20 years ago? I doubt I will watch. And if she wanted to revive her music career she should have had her CD completed and should have dropped it when the movie came out. The buzz will be over by January.

I'll support her even more when she lose those 1985 hair styles.

Oprah loves her some battered women.
We've seen Michel'le on a reality show already, she is boring and rarely coherent.
To be honest , her singing is awful, I hate seeing her lip sync too it's super exaggerated.

I'm sorry, I don't like her.
The most interesting thing about her is she got her ass beat by someone rich, black and famous.
She needs to retreat back into obscurity.

10:58 - the Miki Howard movie was not that bad, after watching it a second time. Gotta keep in mind that TV1 is new to making original movies.

Michel'le does not need to be on a reality show anymore. On R&B Divas, she seemed unstable at times and by joining OWN, that Iyanla character may be involved.
