Lil Wayne Slams Black Lives Matter Movement

In an upcoming interview rapper Lil Wayne slams the Black Lives Matter movement saying he feels no connection...

After Nightline's Linsey Davis asks Lil Wayne how he feels about the Black Lives Matter movement Weezy replies,
“That just sounds weird, I don’t know, that you put a name on it. It’s not a name, it’s not ‘whatever, whatever,’ it’s somebody got shot by a policeman for a f**ked up reason.”
“I am a young black rich motherf**ker. If that don’t let you know that America understand black motherf**kers matter these days, I don’t know what it is.”
“That man white; he filmin’ me. I’m a nigga! I don’t know what you mean, man, don’t come at me with that dumb a** s**t, ma’am."
"My life matter....Especially to my bitches.”
“I don’t feel connected to a damn thing that ain’t got nothin’ to do with me. If you do, you crazy as s**t. Not the camera, you. Feeling connected to something that ain’t got nothin’ to do with you? If it ain’t got nothin’ to do with me, I ain’t connected to it.”
Wayne would later snatch off his mic and storm out of the interview.

This is terrible. And yall wonder why sheltered white people think we ALL don't have it together (when clearly most of us do). We put this ignorant rapper in front of us to represent us and he squats and takes a sh%^ on his own. I almost hope baby don't give him his money that is due so when the irs/debtors come after him he'll then know then. This is what happens when you give high school drop outs money...

I guess you would feel no connection when a billionaire Jew funds your pointless movement. Kudos to lil gremlin.

This is a low class bum. I cannot in a million years and see this ignorant ass bum.

But we knew this years ago when he dropped that Emmett Till lyric. He just don't give a fuck. Lil Wayne fans need to let that sink in.

scrambled eggs for brains, druggie, too many seizures, coon. why are we even bothering with him again? let him go suck off his boo birdman for his album back..

He's such a hypocrite. I guess he got amnesia, and forgot why he doesn't perform in NYC anymore -____-. Maybe he should come back and let the NYPD remind him.

The media knows who to try with this mess. If they were sitting dowm with Talib or Common then they wouldn't even ask. But Lil Wayne shows whats wrong with us. Some if us think b/c the Kartrashians are havibg mixed babies and publicly chase black peen we no longer have a problem. Blacks lack solidarity but we'll learn. I kinda want Trump's racist ass to win so blacks can get a much needed reality check.As far as Lil wayne he's dead to me.

@8:33

Wayne was caught with an illegal firearm in NYC thats why he wont be performing there anymore. Had nothing to do with race, everybody with half a fucking brain knows NY state gun laws are the strictest in the whole damn country.

Wayne is right btw FUCK BLM! Nothing but a bunch of George Soro's paid terrorist's. I'm glad he was man enough and tell the truth, the rest of these fake ass rappers supporting BLM are full of shit especially Mr. 1-800-TIPS!

(sigh)I remember when talented rap artists were coherent and socially conscious. I don't support the BLM movement,I do agree with their message.
Nightline knew exactly what they were doing when they picked this cockroach to interview.

@8:56 are u big mad or little mad???? lol. If ppl don't like what he says stop supporting his ignorant,uneducated butt. It's that simple. Hit him in his pockets. He's irrelevant.

Anonymous said...

Reading his response was tough because it grammatically makes no sense. But I do agree with him on if it doesn't have anything to do with me, I don't go hard for it. I am not a part of the BLM movement nor do I want to be. I am Black and understand social injustices, I just don't identify with this particular movement. I'm not hopping on that bandwagon for a number of reasons.

Get a rope.

@9:08 - Exactly! They know Wayne is controlled and kept high on lean. He knows what side his bread is buttered on and has almost died 3 times in the last year. He's so lost and doesn't realize that he will never have the favor he thinks he has with white people. I think BLM has been co-opted (RIP Darren Seals) but Wayne's comment was intentional because they know

that impressionable young people look up to him. BLM as a movement has issues, but many movements do. The crux of the issue is that people of color have a right to speak out regarding police excessive force.

Anybody with sense knows that Wayne wsa just told to show up and respond to the talking points in the way they told him to. He's nothing sad, abused, repeatedly exploited puppet and nothing anyone should look to for wisdom of guidance.

Is it hard to say:

"I understand why it came about. I want all Americans to be safe. Nobody should be mistreated. But, I don't support BLM for personal reasons".

He's living in the United States and says he cares about nothing that personally does not affect him. He cares nothing about American causes.

It takes a certain kind of souless person to say that they can sit back and see the suffering going on around them, and not send one ounce of positive energy and thoughts of love to those in need.

He's an N word with money and *******. He doesn't want an education, to be someone his children admire.... to be an outstanding American that can make a difference financially to someone.

He's an N word alright. The kind with an R on the end.

@Lead basically you just described about half of America... in fact there's a political party (actually a couple) that espouses just the words you wrote

"My life matter...especially to my bitches."

Ladies and gentlemen, the modern black male.

First I know Wayne is high in this video and I believe he is that way ALL THE TIME. But Nope I cannot and will not support this fool. (Not that I ever did) I hope his fan base abandons him. Since he's not concerned with what doesn't affect him, I'm not concerned with him. But he's delusional. There's a reason he went to jail. He should just look in the mirror.

@11:17

I read a ton of racist comments but that one stung the most because I'm sure that you are as black as me. As a faithfully married (12 years), hard working, childless black man I extend to you the heartiest "fuck you" that I can muster for being as equally prejudice and ignorant as any klansman. If the words of an uneducated, classless "musician" in combination with the 5-10 men (dating average of American women) you have personally dealt with can sum up the entirety of black males then you need to bow out of any informed conversation and ponder the necessity of your existence.

Die slowly, painfully, and alone.

P.S. If you're trolling...congrats.

Why are you giving this druggie a platform when he can't form a correct sentence.

I just read the comments so I could get the jist of what he was talking about. Mumble mouth rapper.

Nothing but a coon niggeR. He needs to drink a whole gallon of lean.

@12:08 - While I don't advocate violence, I understand your frustration. I know NO Black men who behave like Lil' Wayne.

As a matter of fact, all of my immediate family and friends are military, skilled tradesmen, or college educated with full-time jobs, no outside kids, and take care of the women of their lives (not just financially but as the strong heads of their households and as good fathers.)

I think 11:17 is a hurt piece who never had solid Black male fatherhood modeled for them...It's so sad.

@10:42

I'm sorry, but I don't think half of the America THAT I KNOW thinks and speaks the way that that ugly Wayne cretin does. In the span of a few seconds...he called the women in his life ( includes the mother of his children) *******, and black suffering ( I'll include Emitt Till), and American causes in general an afterthought.

I'm grateful to know outstanding black men who have love for their children, and fellow man. I come from a LONG line of college educated, black veterans. WW1 - to now. My own father is a very charitable, Christian black college educated millionare.

Wayne does not represent all black men. Not by a long shot, but him and other fools are being given a platform to destroy the black mans image in the media, and tear down ALL black men in this country. I'm tired of it.

What Wayne is IS A POISON. His job is to destroy the image of black men in this country, promote promisuity, and to divide black people. He is aiding white supremacy.

I don't care what I call him! He's not like my black male relatives, or any of the black men I see in Atlanta. He's a worthless, destructive N word WITH THE R on the end to me. I feel sorry for his children.

Why do Black lives matter only when Whites kill Blacks?

Anonymous said...

@1:55

Keeping the post going...I get it. Comments are coins.

Anonymous said...

@1:55 - It's more prominent in the media and elsewhere because of the systemic racism that has led to violence against Black people since the Middle Passage. It's historical, endemic, and interwoven into our society. Lynchings by lynch mobs have been replaced with police excessive force and prison culture to indoctrinate Black people into an institutionalized underclass. It hasn't worked yet because many of us are awake and know what time it is.

Other than that, troll harder. Black people aren't your enemy. As a matter of fact, pull back the curtain and you'll see that larger banking entities are working to keep ALL people fighting. Wasn't it Baron Rothschild (a member of the famous Rothschild banking family) that said "the time to buy is when there's blood in the streets?"

1:55 PM

Because way too many Blacks only value their life under the conditions (and approval) of White people. I wish more Black people would get over their inferiority complex to whites and (as @2:03 so perfectly alluded to) life the veil to see the real enemy. White people lost what little power they had over black people in 1871.

How can we expect L'il Wayne to care about our lives when he doesn't care about his own. According to him his life matters to others but theirs don't matter to him. When a person shows you who he is, believe him.

@8:56 AM

NYPD has a unit that specifically targets Rappers. If they can't get the rappers on legitimate charges they will bother and harass them at shows hoping someone involved with the performer will attack them so they can shut the show down. They do this to only Black hip hop artists.

Wayne is dumb for allowing himself to get caught up like that but doesn't negate the fact that he was targeted because he was Black and a rapper.

Lol everybody is sooooo shocked. They all worship the lord of the air. It's the only way they can attain so much money quickly. Some are better at hiding it then others.

Cosign 1:27 pm, Thank you for putting some of my thoughts into words. He meant every thing he said. He's too arrogant to get it, and you would only be casting pearls upon that swine.
