African American Gospel Singers Lining Up for Trump Inauguration?

Last week R&B singer Jennifer Holliday backed out on her agreement to perform for president elect Donald Trump's inauguration after a furious backlash from the LGBT community [click here if you missed that].

Now comes word some other African American singers may not be as hesitant...

From Page Six
Sources have told Page Six that gospel singers Travis Greene, Jonathan McReynolds and R&B singer Chrisette Michele have been asked to perform at the festivities on Jan. 20.
McReynolds and Michele did not get back to us, but a rep for Greene said, “It’s not confirmed yet, but it’s something that was shot to us and it’s in the works.”
Meanwhile veteran entertainment news reporter Jawn Murray hints there are more singers waiting in the wings.
