This is crazy!!! Just yesterday in the shower, I was wondering where Anita was and why wasn't she making any music!!!

I ain't mad at ya, Anita; enjoy life while you still have life in you. This world will suck the life out of you, turn you into a vegetable, and dogg you out if you let them, or if and when you stay around too long.

Wishing you health and happiness in sincere appreciation of your musical legacy!

God bless and thanks again!

Love her music. She's a lot of things, but humble IS NOT ONE OF THEM. She is one of the most rudest people around. And i'm speaking from personal experience. She is a RUDE COW, who happens to sing her butt off....

@9:38 TRUE....such a lovely voice from a lady that always seem to have an attitude...she wasn't pleasant at all when we acknowledged her presence in the airport

WHHHYYYYYY!!! I never seen her in concert, I guess it won't ever happen. Enjoy your retirement Anita, I do not blame you one bit! I listen to every song like it's new.

30 yers ago, Anita Baker was kind & generous when she invited my 3-year-old daughter onto the stage & sang Sweet Love to her, which she remembers in vivid detail. Since I would consider fame and constantly being approached by strangers as though they know you hell-on-earth, I understand being averse to the intrusions and even "rude." Artists are people. too.
