Donald Trump Cancels Vist to African American Museum on MLK Day


President elect Donald Trump cancels his visit to the Smithsonian Museum of African American History and Culture on Martin Luther King Jr. Day after insulting King protégé Congressman John Lewis...

President elect Donald Trump was scheduled to visit the Smithsonian African American Museum in Washington today in honor of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday but has since canceled his plans after blasting Congressman John Lewis on Twitter.



Trump's angry Twitter tirade came in the early morning hours after Lewis called Trump an illegitimate president who was assisted by Russian hackers.

Fun Fact: Congressman Lewis worked side by side with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during the civil rights movement and currently represents one of the most affluent and diverse districts in Atlanta, Zone 5.
