Jennifer Holliday Explains Allegiance to LGBT Community Over Donald Trump

Last week Dreamgirls star Jennifer Holliday canceled her scheduled performance at president elect Donald Trump's inauguration ceremony after a furious backlash from the LGBT community [click here if you missed that].

In an interview with MSNBC's Joy Reid Jennifer explains why it was the the LGBT community and not the Black community that swayed her opinion...

Jennifer explains,
“Black Twitter really hurt me a lot...All the tweets that I read from the African American community were directed directly at me. The tweets from the gay community took the issues and did not call me names. Also they have been a faithful community since Dreamgirls to me, and fed me even when the church people didn’t feed me.”

Um, Dlisted comment section dragged her to hell and back so what is she talking about? I bet her PR person told her to say that. What's funny is that this is the worst time to be hitching your wagon to gay causes, because Pence (who's going to be writing legislation) hates gays a little more than he hates Black people. Why is Jennifer Holliday always a day late and a dollar short? She just seems so stupid.

What she really wanted to say was:

Ever since the black community chose Jennifer Hudson over me I could care less about them....

I'm confused. Are gay and Black mutually exclusive? Are there no Black gay people? Is every Black person on "Black Twitter"? Did anyone on "Black Twitter" come to her defense? My most important question to Ms Holliday is WHERE DID SHE LEARN TO JUDGE ALL BLACK PEOPLE BY THE SMALL PERCENTAGE OF THE WORST BLACK PEOPLE?
