I'm just gonna bring my comment from last night right on over...

OT:

Anyone watching the New Edition story on BET? It's actually very well made. I'm glad one part has been confirmed for me that I have ALWAYS known. Bobby was on his cokehead/hooker shenanigans since his early NE days while still living in Boston. Whitney didn't "put him" on anything, they were two addicts whose issues compounded together....

Carry on!

The can you stand the rain part last night was amazing!!! Since I was 11 I have been a dedicated NE Fan. I never missed a concert, buying their albums etc... I even took my teenage son to their last concert to see the true definition of team dedication on stage. I even went to see them get their star on Monday (long overdue). The only thing I hate is the fact their egos are getting the best of them again. I knew it was something going on behind the scenes when BBD has been promoting the heck out of their album & upcoming tour.Ricky confirmed it last week via video (the same reason they had to form BBD back then is the same reason BBD is releasing their album now instead of a Ne Edition album. New Edition could have went on tour with new songs that were produced with this movie & countless other things. I wish the guys nothing but the best & hope they can come together & give the fans another NE album & put the attitudes aside.

Ralph was smart to change his 1st wife Shelly and mother of his three kids name to Zena in the movie for legal purposes. I remember when they lived in Atlanta & Shelly was giving him hell going in & out of court.

I'm from the area they grew up in Shelly was beautiful. I guess she couldn't handle the things they went thru in their marriage. The drugs made her look older. Bobby & Johnny is the most down to earth. Ricky is mean/arrogant

They were a trip & still is smh

@ 9:44am, yes it is sad that they can't put their attitude aside and do a tour and album along with the movie and kudos to Chris Robinson because he did a hell of a job and it too bought me back. I'm sure they could have done a 5 part series, but the 3 they are doing is giving me life because it does appear to give an upclose and personal look of all the challenges they went through as a group.

The part when Bobby gets kicked out the group and his mother is busy on the phone trying to call the other mothers (to probably get him back in the group) while getting a busy signal from all of them i absolutely believed it happened just that way.happens that way.

I forgot to add that the group should remember what Mike did with forming BBD for the same reasons of members having divo behavior. I can see Mike now saying f that if they want to be that way I'm going to get my coin, later for all the bs!!

I definitely have a new appreciation for the way Mike handled himself back then at such a young age in a sea of sharks swarming in the music industry.

If memory serves me I believe Ronnie took his coins and became successful in the real estate industry.

I haven't seen a biopic done like this since the Temptations and the Jackson all the rest of the biopics thumbs down I will say TLC's was great too now all I have to see is SWV they are worthy of one I wouldn't say they was unsung he just had a lot of personal problems they had to deal with I've always been a fan of SWV
