Beyonce's Full Grammy Performance

Pop star Beyonce only brought home two of nine Grammy nominations last night but her performance stole the show...

While Solange won the Grammy for Best R&B performance for Cranes in the Sky, Beyonce took home the Grammy for Best Contemporary Album for Lemonade and Best Music Video for Lemonade.

Meanwhile Adele fangirled over Beyonce in her acceptance speech for Album of the Year.

What did I watch? 5 minutes I cant get back. Why is it so important for beyonce to be White

I wonder if Beyonce will ever work with Adele? Adele definitely is down for it as she is a huge Beyonce fan.

It was boring

Same old ish New day. It's overkill now. Okay girl we get it you're pregnant this time with invitro babies. But we all know dam well she DID NOT carry Blue at all. I told you guys the minute she was really pregnant she would show off the belly. It proves all along she didn't carry Blue and have fertility issues.
Blue looks like Jay that is all I got.

The Real Fedup said...

Also why the hell she trying to look like the Virgin Mary. Girl bye nothing in you is virtuous Beyoncé. Smh

I love my titties. I could never mistreat them like that.

Okay Beyonce is really pregnant this time around and she looked pretty last night. I hope she goes and sit down somewhere, this Goddess routine is becoming embarrassing to witness. T
he Carters seem like good parents but I don't understand why they drag Blue to these kind of events. Didn't they see what happened to Bobbi Kristina?
Anyway, Congratulations to Adele and Beyonce on their wins.
Beyhive needs to chill with all that racism talk. It's funny to watch the stans turn into Sojourner Truth when their faves are slighted in the least.

Deuces. Her new back up act. It was so boring. Now I can get back to sleep. EGO is a helluva of a drug.

Bey/J bringing the kid to see that fuckery. Next bitches will be pushing babies out on stage. For the one up

Iwas waiting to read all the hate this morning. Thank you snitch for posting about Beyonce's gorgeous performance. Once again, she made me feel so much pride as a black woman. @7:33 and @7:39 I love how she continues to exalt herself as a goddess. How dare she consider herself as such since she's just a ghetto black girl from Houston right?!? Please! All my black sisters are queens...and yes even those who have blonde hair and may have lighter shade skin or wear weaves. We all have our struggles to truly accept ourselves and embrace our beauty here in racist America. Listen. Can we as black women stop trying to pull this woman down! White women have had all kinds of performances/videos/movies proclaiming themselves to be goddesses for centuries...from Madonna to Elizabeth Taylor. I have NO problem with Beyonce saying I am a goddess and an African inspired one at that (Osun). Let this queen live! She had a stellar performance, gave a fantastic acceptance speech, looked gorgeous and had a beautiful black family. I will support that image on TV and in the media all day everyday!!!! Stop hating! Yall should be throwing all this shade at the dumb misguided black girl Joy Villa who wore the pro Trump dress!!!!

Thank You 7:59!!! She was amazing last night!! But really, when isn't she?! She's a black woman for ALL black girls. These lost ones hatin' cause they themselves are lacking and need try and tear down Beyoncé in an effort to convince themselves that she's not that great because they don't know how to be great themselves..

Beyonce is extremely evil and blasphemous. Her fans are basically a reflection of her. Cut from the same cloth... they accept and approve of what she did, because they in fact accept her as their deity. Bunch of weirdos.

The numbers don't lie. A lot of these nominations come down to sales. Lemonade sold 1.6m in the US, 25 sold 9.2m. Lemonade had no hits... There was no way Beyonce was going to win Album and Song Of The Year over Adele.

--- BEYONCE CAN'T SELL RECORDS. SHE NEVER SOLD AFTER DESTINY'S CHILD---.

@7:59 AGREED. The choreography, graphics, visuals and Goddess like theme was well produced & very entertaining. Perhaps the tempo was a bit slow for the people in here talking about "boring". Beyoncé is a consummate performer who continuously gives her fans and audience a SHOW. As someone who love art & creativity, Respect Queen

Hey 7:59

I said Beyonce was pretty what else do you want from me, lol. I also think she's talented, it's all the other stuff about her that I find insufferable.
Excuse me for not tripping over my feet to worship Beyonce like others and maybe I would recognize the beauty of this "African family" if I didn't know the shit was nothing more than an act. It's becoming more obvious everyday there is nothing genuine about what Beyonce does or says. I don't care if you are Black, White or Purple, if I don't like something I am going to speak on it.

BTW- I thought the homage to Oshun was refreshing to see, just void of the warmth and love Oshun is said to represent.

Damn. Can somebody please wipe that arrogant, self important look off Beyonce's face? it's the look in her eyes that says "I'm better. Worship me."

Anonymous said...

Kudos to 7:59.

Never understood the hate/dislike for Beyoncé. My sis claims she can't stand Beyoncé, but sings along to some of her songs, and rocked her hair blond with the blunt cut bang (for a few years)after she seen Beyoncé in the Me, Myself, and I video back in the day.

So now when I see people speak negative on Beyoncé, I just think y'all are some low key fans like my sis.

The fact that Bey LOST album and song of the year is PROOF POSITIVE that the industry is OVER Beyonce.

Anonymous said...

@Chrissy

Are the hive really calling racism for Adele winning over Bey? lol Lemonade was a big deal....on the internet. No one really watched the movie on HBO and it's not even Bey's best selling album. It was more like a last hurrah TBH

Everybody wants to pile onto Beyonce, but the Grammy Awards (frankly all award shows) have always been self-aggrandizing distractions to keep people from looking at issues that truly impact them. I think why people are particularly frustrated anymore is that the award shows aren't hiding that they're rituals anymore. Beyonce as the Virgin Mary re: The Goddess Isis bothers people on a visceral level but they can't articulate why. It bothers them because deep down they can feel the Satanism coming through their screens.

Don't be mad at Beyonce, she's only doing what she's told to do.

So Beyonce wants to be worshiped and blasphemous beehive follow. Adele can't sing live. Bruno Mars is in a league by himself.

The End

Hopefully this is a farewell performance for a while. I wonder what Blue will think of all the hype around her siblings when she's older when she got barley a mention. I cant believe the lengths Beyoncé goes through to get attention. A "Christian" woman would never dress as a Hindu goddess! I used to enjoy her music and personality, but her addiction to fame and attention has ruined any further admiration. Bruno stole the show tho! His standing ovation was well deserved!

This is @7:59. Whether you are a Beyonce fan or not, I think we can all agree Lemonade was a creative masterpiece. It was so well thought out, masterfully planned and marvelously executed. I personally think it belongs in the same category as Thriller and Purple Rain for the visual album. It had so many layers of meaning and truly thrust the discussion of black women and all our trials and tribulations to mainstream America and the world. Is Beyonce perfect? Of course not but I give her a world of credit for shining a light on the injustices black women face...even from our own men. It doesn't matter to me if she's genuine or not (which I think she is) because she still used her platform of influence to open the discussion. She has peaked the interest of young people all over the world to do their own research. As Adele said after the Grammy's "I felt like it was her time to win. What the f--k does she have to do to win album of the year?"

And let's be clear we know the cultural bias that exists at the Grammy's us real. Only 10 blacks have EVER won the Grammy for album of the year. Think about that. Black people have always created the culture/art enjoyed by the world yet we've only been deemed to deserve Album of the Year 10 times. Taylor Swift and Adele each have 2 Album of the Year awards yet Beyonce, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, Jimi Hendrix, Nina Simone, Mary J, Marvin Gaye, Tupac and Jay Z all have none. Taylor Swift's 1989 beat Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly. O Brother Where Art Thou? soundtrack beat Outcast Stankonia. Macklemore won Best New Artist and Best Rap Album over Kendrick Lamar. And those are just the slights I can immediately think of. I'm just saying guys...I know some of you dislike Bey but at some point black people have to come together. I may not have liked OJ but I could recognize the bias against him during his trial and arrest. Sometimes the racial bias just isn't right and in my opinion this is another clear case of it. I like Adele a lot (even more now for her being honest about not deserving the award). However, Album of the Year should have gone to Beyonce.

The whole performance was talking. Solange was robbed so Beyyaki brought out the twin pillow props to take the attention from her. Everyone in the world is over this broad.

@7:59 again. Last comment. Snitch please also post about A Tribe Called Quest performance. I see the mainstream media is not reporting on it. I thought they were terrific with their bold protest performance against Trump! For those of you who didn't see it, you should Google it. It was real hip hop at its finest.

Only a hive member would think this. If Lemonade impacted so many people around the world how come it barely sold 2 million records? Clearly many people haven't even HEARD it, let alone got the message. Yes the grammy's have always been biased towards white artists for the album of the year award but let's be clear, the INDUSTRY votes for who wins. Bey's PEERS felt Adele's album was superior to hers. The end.

Once again, the choreography was terrific; the music is not there.

@10:18 Now beyonce knows how the people felt when she "slighted" them over the years. Kanye is correct in the purchasing ... KARMA

Chrissy Snow said...

9:41 Yes which is crazy to me considering all the other female artists she's stepped on to get where she is. I thought Beyonce would win too but like someone above stated, the industry votes on the winner. It's clear Beyonce doesn't have the influence she thought she had.

I don't know if I have ever seen a more over hyped and oddly worshipped artist than Beyonce. She is not a victim of racial bias but the younger female artists of color clawing their way to the top are. Why does no one speak up for them? Oh I know, it's because they don't have a gang of silly insects and a wind machine of bs behind them.

Loved her performance and loved the BLACK AFRICAN QUEEN vibe she was giving. She deserved AOTY and should remember that next time she skips out on the NAACP or any other award show where they celebrate "contemporary urban" artist.

While it was commendable of Adele to share her moment with Bey by doing so she highlighted the fact that Bey lost. It was good to see footage of Rihanna and Bey blowing each other kisses in the audience. Rihanna was robbed last night and Congrats to Chance for beating out the big names without having a big song.

And Solonge congrats

@7:59. get off Beyonce's clit! Damn all those words then co-signing yourself, unless you're getting paid for this, seek help!
Anyyouneedastraightjacket,

I haven't watched her performance, but I'm sure it was ridiculous. Beyonce has been over for a long time. they need to stop trying to make her happen.

Kanye was right.

Satanic, blasphemous performance. And only demons are raving over it.

Beyonce is so pathetic that she doesn't even care that her hype and industry accolades are paid for.

Dumb, Boring ass shit. Like, they act as if she's the only woman in the world that can birth children. That was a dumb, overrated performance, and SHE IS NOT Mother Earth.

NO THANK YOU, MA'AM....

Just because people didn't like that performance does not automatically mean they don't like her. I thought it was a tad much

I think it was ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!!!!

7:59 and 10:18!! THANK YOU!! Well said!!

@10:18 and 10:40
Both of you all make Valid Points.
Especially 10:18.

Granted, I've NEVER heard that Lemonade Album. But maybe i will give it a lesson.

To try and compare ANY album to Purple Rain OR Thriller....is the Ultimate compliment.

If this is anywhere near being true then the album sales should match & they dont.

I never listened base off of Formation aline because that song was horrible to me because the chorus was wack.
So i hope thats the worst song on Lemonade.
If its not THEN that's why she lost th hat award imo.

Purple Rain & Thriller are Timeless and do not have ANY wack songs on them.

Also Rhi'a Anti album was BETTER imo

The images you see in Catholic Churches of the so called "virgin Mary" are actually not of Mary but a repackaged version of the ancient Eastern mystery religions. She represents the pagan goddess who has many names depending on the era or region.... Isis, Ishtar (Easter, resurrection of Tammuz), and Semiramis. Semiramis gave birth to Tammuz who is the Sun God worshipped during Easter. Note the yellow SUN dress Blue has on. She represents the goddess of fertility, war, sex and power. Rihanna has the Egyptian version of the goddess tattooed on her chest.

Most of these celebrity performers are modern day idols. The same idols the The Living God forbade the children of Israel to worship. You see in her performance the backup dancers have their hands raised in worship to her (a mortal human). She wants to be worshipped as the demonic entities through which she operates feed off of your energy. They desire to be like the Most High. Mindless low self esteem individuals actually worship this woman and have created a literal cult around Beyoncé worship complete with a bible and church.
