L.A. Reid In Hot Water with Epic?

Newly revealed blind item claims music exec L.A. Reid may have been caught abusing his power...

This A+ list producer/record executive/former reality star with a name like an initialed city is in big trouble with his employer. It seems as if the A+ lister brought in his personal barber on company time and also allowed another handful of employees to also get their hair cut by the barber. The cuts were not cheap but the executive billed them all to the company on his expense account so was getting reimbursed by the company every couple of weeks for the haircuts of others.

The other employees, maybe...but what the hell was he being charged for?

silly. It's his expense account. An executive in his position has to approve others expenses. I doubt any person he's reporting to has time to hold court over hair cut costs, unless it's bankrupting the company. I doubt it. It's a fuckin haircut.

On this level, these folks spend 10's of thousands to dine out and fly first class.

But, 2:12, they're using this as an excuse to force him out. It was a stupid choice but like you said no different from other executives. He must have gotten too comfortable and forgot he was a Black man in America, the record industry is dying, and he hasn't recruited a hit maker or made a hit album in years. Maybe he and Pebbles can team up to steal someone else's money again to cover the expenses.

Even though it may seem like a small amount...it's theft.

@2:57 because back then Reid was bringing home the Mula. So you know it's the whole "protect your cash cow" mantra. But now, as 2:15 said, the record industry is dying so all the things that Reid used to get away with, he can't anymore. He is should know that he is walking on eggshells. This ain't the 90s or earlier era anymore
