Mariah Carey Redeems Herself

Mariah Carey redeems herself after infamous New Year's Eve debacle in Times Square...

Mariah flawlessly performed her new single 'I Don't' live on Jimmy Kemmel last night in her first performance since technical difficulties ruined her appearance on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve [click here if you missed that].

Her voice is nowhere close to what it used to be and that's sad. I still love her though.

Sounds good to me!

Mariah is doing songs with YG? She can barely breathe with those ridiculous tight dresses.

Sigh

She's not consistent enough to be relevant in this day and age.

My thing is this yes she has changed its koo tho she was wife and is a mom. She has had battles with depression and she continues to fight this is evident by the fact we still talkn about her in 2017. MC deserves respect for all her accomplishments truly, shyt i just played the album butterfly to remind myself she was REALLY a hitta. My issue is the fact that it seemed with all the new stars ie beyonce riahanna and etc she was too ashamed to sing. That is upsetting to me its like a person who has purchased albums slapped her music in my ride and introduced my 8 year old to real sangin using her as an example i felt cheated! I dont care if they gotta roll her butt on stage and she singing thru one of those electronic voice boxes throat cancer patients use, get up and do it for those of us he rode for her back in the 90's, do it for us! No more of that new years eve lip sync mess that was totaly outta line. So with all that said MC im proud of this performance, i respect it๐Ÿ’•

YAY!! Mariah still has it in her - she just needs discipline!!! Quit the drinking and the benzos. Retrain her voice. She still has it!

BUT I noticed she barely moved. Probably if she did any kind of dancing (I mean we all know Mimi can't dance but she could bop or sway or sumthin LOL) it would have taken her breath away. She needed to be motionless for voice control. If she could only be consistent! But you gotta admit - Mariah was one of the most consistently "on" singers for most of her career. She released back to back albums early on. I guess when she hit 35+ she was like fux it Ima do ME for awhile. And she has that right, but if she's going to be out touring and performing she needs to be disciplined enough to bring her A game and fluff off after her tour or appearances are done.

Anyway, she's still my fave. I will always be a fan. I'm glad this performance was successful. I just hope she continues this trend.

And 1 last thing - cover up the bewbies Mariah. They were very distracting- and not in a good way. LOL
