This is shocking news. His condition had to have been a lot worse than exhaustion. He was a legendary music icon with a unique voice. loved his singing.

Let's form a prayer circle around Bill Withers and Bobby Caldwell immediately! Lord please don't take another REAL talent from us on Grammy night!

2017 is starting off where, 2016 ended. My sadness is certainly for his passing. But talents like Al Jarreau will be greatly missed. The loss is BIG. What are left with is samplers who can even play a damn harmonica.

My fav song was After All.

RIP

RIP damn I loved his voice. I hate to say this but it's not surprising another legend has died around Grammys time. Strange how that happens.

Dam!! When I saw that last post about him being forced to retire from perfoming, I immediately thought to myself if he wasn't already dead, them telling him he can no longer perform would kill him.

I just didn't wanna say that next thing we'd hear was that he's dead because I was hoping for a chance that he'd turn it around somehow and get back to what performing and that I'd get to see him someday.

Again, I say DAM!!!!

However, RIP Mr. Al Jarreau :(
