Steve Harvey Continues to Defend Trump Visit

Last month Steve Harvey fans were up in arms after he took a meeting with Donald Trump following the presidential election [click here if you missed that].

Steve is still defending his actions...

In a recent commercial/interview Steve explains,
“They know how hard I fought for the Democratic ticket. It just didn’t work out. So, he’s the president and he was a smart guy that day. It’s just a lot of people don’t understand so I can’t worry about that. I went up there to talk about stuff from the community that I’m from. I grew up in the inner city, I was a street guy. So I just want to help and he was open to that. I can’t get mad about that.”

This is a distraction; There are plans for even more militarization of the police and civil rights restrictions so we don't have time for this. Who even cares anymore/He's just seeking attention so it's time to ignore this.

Steve, just like your hairline, we've moved on! Enough already!

What civil rights restrictions are you referring to 9:08. Because the only restriction I'm seeing is the left stifling people's freedom to support whomever they choose to. I may not agree with Steve but he has a right to like who he wants. Blacklisting and attacking folks for exercising that freedom is bullshit. Am I the only one who sees the supposed big bad orange wolf as nothing more than a decoy?

9:46 - I agree with you and I'm talking about the bigger picture beyond left and right. Steve Harvey has the right to see whomever/do whatever he wants, but there were plans for for restrictions BEFORE Trump got into office. With General Flynn gone there will be almost no one who is not part of the Washington Machine surrounding Trump.

Notice how Pence is slowly moving his people in? Politicians are figureheads and whatever legislation is in the pipeline is independent of the figurehead in power. The fear I have is that Trump (right, wrong, or indifferent) was as independent as a politician could be in America and that is a threat to the status quo. I think you understand what I mean but the larger issue is that both the left and the right wing are controlled and Trump is a threat to that, whatever one thinks of him.

He can support anyone he wants, just like I can say he's a opportunist and full of shit. If he felt he was doing the right thing, then why do damage control?! Because he is afraid of losing money from sponsors and his target demographic, because trust, he is not crossing racial divides like Chris Rock or Dave Chappelle.

I really USED to be a Steve Harvey supporter. Continues to play himself. Sigh.

Steve Harvey is full of shit. I've never thought he was funny. I still don't know why people take marriage advice from a man on his 3rd marriage. I'd rather hear from someone that has been married to the same person for 20 or 30 yrs and how they made it work...not someone who trades in his wife for a new one every 7 years. LOL

The more you defend, the less credible you become. It's over. You're a tap dancing coon, and that's the bottom line.

Steve will be putting out a documentary on how to get a seat at the table. Please spend your hard earned money to view it. You know you want too. People still think Trump in independent or against the status quo? Trump is part of the show. Just wait for the grand finale.
