Trey Songz Trial Moves Forward

Back in December R&B singer Trey Songz was arrested in Detroit following an onstage meltdown after his mic was cut mid-concert [click here if you missed that].

The case is headed to trial...

According to reports Trey Songz appeared via video today in 36th District Court and waived a key hearing allowing the case to proceed.

The singer is charged with aggravated assault and assaulting a police officer.

Trey's next court date is February 24, he remains free on bond until then.

Those are serious charges; I hope he has a great, Detroit-based lawyer so Kym Worthy doesn't get in that ass. He's the perfect high-profile dummy they'll use as an example re: hard time. Can Trey do the time?

maybe he can get chris brown old cell.... oh wrong city. he can get his hair braided for real now. they will prob have to put him on the drag queen wing to keep him safe!

Eh a ain't the time for those type of charges, he better settle or plea or start doing psa. This is Trump era, the fuckery will not be tolerated.
