Trouble in Paradise for Robert DeNiro and Grace Hightower?

Spy-witnesses catch legendary actor Robert DeNiro arguing with wife Grace Hightower in public about money...

From Page Six

Trouble is brewing over Grace Hightower’s coffee company. We’re told that her husband, Robert De Niro — who is a major investor in the firm — is steamed because the 5-year-old Grace Hightower & Coffees of Rwanda brand is turning into a money pit.
We’re told that Hightower has frustrated business associates — as well as the legendary actor — by dithering over simple decisions, and “changing her mind about how to run the business depending on who she spoke to last.”
A source tells us that, in a moment of frustration, De Niro boiled over while bickering with Hightower in public at a Manhattan bar, telling her, “I wouldn’t have to keep making s - - tty movies if you didn’t spend all my money!”

Why the hell would she start a coffee company? She was a flight attendant before she met De Niro. Stay in ya lane and out his pockets. Give her 20K a month and keep it movin.

@11:17 Better yet He should hide his money declare bankruptcy and then divorce her.

He's not wrong; Starbucks is allegedly losing money on Rwandan coffee due to instability in the region. Why not stay in her lane? Build a domestic business or import something less risky?

They have an autistic son so why not put her energy into business that develop learning tools for those kids. I swear the wives of celebrities (except Shaunie O'Neal) seem really dumb.

Not sure why this is any of our concern. They are 2 committed adult individuals in a long term marriage that argues about money....that can be said about a lot of marriages..its healthy to be able to respectfully disagree with your spouse. Oh btw...this is one of a few interracial marriages that have made it more than 25 years.

Because this is a gossip blog, 11:34. (Thanks for visiting though, Grace!)

Toukie Smith (his bm) wouldn't have done this to him.

11:37 took it ALL the way back; Toukie at least had some sense because she was a model who traveled the world and was use to money. Grace sounds like she thinks the gravy train will last forever (knowing full well DeNiro's alleged real age is 78 years old.)

Hope they rethink that biz before it destroys their marriage!

...and wtf does 'staying in her lane' mean? oh, thats right, she's black, she's not supposed to be a business woman...black women need to stop hating on the ones that are tryna be successful.

Um, some of you aren't from New York so you might not know: Grace has tried to start a catering business, a florist, and a nail salon and all have folded. She won't listen (allegedly) to her business advisers. It's like when Liz Taylor gave Larry Fortensky money to start a construction business and he blew through it. Some people just don't have a head for business. This is not about race, it's about common sense and business acumen.

If she had any sense at all she'd put seed money into an App company and make a TON on the back end like Tom Hanks. And just because DeNiro makes 20mil a movie doesn't mean it's smart to just blow money on bad business plans.

this is a fake news story.

@11:17 Toukie is that you? they are married, why should she settle for $20K a month just because you did. Hes got more than that....

She sells her coffee at Saks Fifth Ave., it's sold out online. Gilt too. And i think i've seen it at Whole Foods. A failed Nail salon aint going to break someone who makes 20+ mill a film, owns 30% of the Tribeca Film Festival, and an upscale restuarant chain. Toukie and her people still hate her because he actually married Grace and she delivered her child without a surrogate. De Niro is 80 years old and when he dies Grace is going to be the executor of his will and Toukie will still be dry snitchin to the media.

3:05 ~ Hi Grace! I love your hat choices when I see you on NYSD.

That aside, unless he can trust her like David Bowie trusted Iman, his estate will blown through in a matter of years. Grace seems nice, but also seems to have no business acumen at all...Like, why does an error message saying "This site may harm your computer" come up when you Google the coffee? And wasn't it rumored that Saks only took the line as a favor to DeNiro and by "selling out" you mean "buying back?"

Grace and Toukie are on here fighting Snitch! Either way, we all respect both ladies. Let's hit the chill button.
