Viola Davis Wins the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress

Viola Davis wins the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Fences opposite Denzel Washington...

This is Viola's first win after two nominations. She has already won a Tony and an Emmy and just needs a Grammy to for the EGOT.

Fun Fact: Whoopi Goldberg is the only Black actress with an EGOT. James Earl Jones and Harry Belafonte are also EGOT winners.

Viola is so damn melodramatic. Lol! Well she's in the right line of work! I love her!

Talk about over-egging the pudding. I could understand that kind of emotion if you've saved lives or played an active role in a team that achieved a major medical or technological breakthrough beneficial to mankind.
That speech seemed incredibly self-indulgent with a massive dose of self-admiration and importance. Very cringeworthy indeed.
She's a very good actress but for crying out loud it's only an acting award.
Mind you most of Hollywood is so completely divorced from reality it may as well be on another planet.

@1:25 - I'm sure some of those tears are for all she had to do (behind the scenes) to earn that award. She looked beautiful tho. Gorgeous skin!
