Last year a Florida judge sentenced New Orleans rapper Kevin Gates to 180 days jail for kicking a female fan in chest after she repeatedly grabbed his leg during a concert [click here if you missed that].
Kev was supposed to be released yesterday but...
....he was held on an outstanding warrant from an unrelated weapons case in Illinois.
Kevin will be picked up by the Illinois authorities within 30 days.
