Robyn Crawford's Father Confirms Longstanding Rumors

This week the new documentary, Whitney Houston: Can I Be Me, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York rehashing old rumors about Whitney Houston's sexuality [click here if you missed that].

Now the father of Whitney's alleged lover comes forward to set the record straight...

Robyn Crawford's father tells Radar Online,
“I knew 40 years ago, we all knew. I saw them together.”
“When she told me, there was nothing I could do about it except love her.”
“[Cissy Houston] knew about the relationship with my daughter 25 years ago. Why she would deny it, you have to ask her.”
“Dionne [Warwick] grew up with them, and knew about it too.”

If muthafukas would've mind their business about her sexual preference maybe Whit's life would've been a lil different. But it's all water under the bridge now. Boy I miss me some Whitney....she would check a slick journalist real quick. RIP Whitney

The only person I'm respecting and have respected through the years was Robin. She never said a peep, nada nothing, zilch. I only heard about Robin today, hearing she is now married with kids.

Why are we dredging they her alleged bi-sexuality a large part of the documentary? In the documentaries about Frank Sinatra (who was allegedly a bi-polar heavy drinker) Bing Crosby (allegedly abused his kids) and Dennis Wilson (who had close dealings with Charles Manson) there is little to no talk of their respective foibles. So why is this such a big part of Whitney's documentary?

Why are they airing laundry she didn't wish to discuss when she was alive? Her mother is still alive, so they could have tabled talk of this very private matter. Like 1:55 said Robin has kids.

This is unnecessary.

^^^Sorry, I was angry and typing. I meant "why are they dredging this up? Why is this such a large part of the documentary?"

Let her REST!!!

Clearly someone out there feels this reveal about the beautiful Ms.Whitney Houston is absolutely necessary/mandatory for us (the public) to know, as though knowing about her bi-sexuality is as equally important to our existence, just as air is. Really? So now that we've got this info...Now what? *crickets*

RIP Ms. Houston. They dragged you in life and are apparently still trying to drag you in death. Fans know it wasn't your lifestyle that got you your wealth and fame. Your beautiful voice is what you will always be remembered for, loved and dearly missed for.

@2:22 PM Also Frank Sinatra was tied to the mafia. He and his friends, which included Sammy Davis Jr. were called the Rat Pack. They weren't the mafia, but they sure had close ties to the mafia.

Why does everyone think this is aa horrible thing? Countless celebrities have dipped in the lady pond. They experimented and later both married and had kids. Truth is not horrible. The father is speaking because he was asked. He obviously doesn't see the big deal. We're making it much more horrific than it needs to be. She was HUMAN. She sang greatly. She did drugs. She was funny and smart. Bobby didn't get her started on drugs. She had a lesbian relationship. She was a legend. We miss her. It's OK to tell the truth. THE END
