Are Blacks Being Kept Off Bill Cosby's Jury?

Jury selection began this week for Bill Cosby's rape trial and his lawyers believes Black people are purposely being kept off the jury...

From USA Today
With just one black person seated among the first 11 jurors chosen for Bill Cosby's sexual assault trial, defense lawyers are crying foul and accusing prosecutors of trying to systematically keep blacks off the jury.
The lawyers return to court on Wednesday in Pittsburgh to pick a 12th juror and six alternates.
For now, Judge Steven O'Neill has rejected the race bias argument.

Again I think sagging pants are gross, but he made it seem as if that's what causes racism. We've assimilated into their world and yet racism still exist!

Right or wrong you are supposed to get a jury of your peers. Black ppl seem to be the only ppl denied that right.

"Your peers" doesn't mean people of your own race, it means people equal to you in rights - your fellow citizens. He's getting a jury of people equal to him. He's no King, or Lord of any land. He's just a citizen who will be judged by fellow citizens. You can't say it's not a jury of his peers unless you're saying black citizens shouldn't be thought of as equal to white citizens.

Google the right you're talking about. The right to a jury of one's own peers has never promised anyone a jury made up of people of their own background. It's from the Magna Carte when people were promised they'd be treated as free citizens rather than endentured servants to be judged and sentenced by the Lord of the land.

Of all the things Bill Cosby has done for the black "community" and this is the thanx he gets...

Last I heard the man never compared himself to jesus christ so yes he has his faults. But no one in modern times will do for black ppl what Bill has done. Too bad the court of public opinion destroyed his legacy before the court of law could even attempt to. It doesn't matter anyway black people are a lost cause.

I'm still wondering who in the Hollywood elite Bill pissed off. What did he do for them to allow his downfall. I think of other celebs like Charlie Sheen who have gotten away with all manner of fuckery and is still running around without a care in the world.

Cosby needs to stop with his antics - color has nothing to do with rape.

I believe he moved his case to this area just so he could claim racial discrimination. Why did you steal the pound cake, Bill?

Guess the word "peers" seems to escape those in the justice system.

@10:33 PM, They're going to make him wish he was in court for stealing pound cake instead of pussy.

The case moved across the state from the
Philadelphia area to the Pittsburgh area. Anybody (a black person especially) that knows anything about Pittsburgh knows how racist it is. I still don't care what happens to this old trifling ass, goofy ass coon.

its so funny that half the black people on this site is mad at bill cosby for telling 'black men' to pull their pants up, the other half doesn't understand what a jury of your peers means...ROFLMAO

He could have kept his mouth shut about people with their pants down, for what it was worth. The people that he was talking about or to obviously weren't listening, because the trend continues. He's the one that should have pulled and kept his pants up. Maybe someone should have also told him to stop living a double (or triple) life.

Well this chicken is finally coming home to roost and I'm enjoying every second of it. Bill sat around and did interviews with white publications about how bad black people are. He attacked the black community from every angle by generalizing us with myths and lies as if we are a monolith people. He even chastised us for our interest in Africa. This is Bills well deserved Karma

I hope that one black jury is wise enough to see what the system is trying to do. It only takes 1 to say "He aint do it"

I don't think he did any of that stuff. And to the judge, race has everything to do with it.
