Training Day Canceled on CBS

Training Day starring Justin Cornwell and the late Bill Paxton canceled after one season on CBS...

Industry insiders claim the series would have been canceled even if Paxton had not died this past February because of chronic low ratings.

The series was based on the 2001 film of the same name starring Denzel Washington.

RIP Bill Paxton, but they messed by putting a white man in the role Denzel played. Hollywood is so dumb sometimes.

Not surprised. When Bill Paxton died (RIP), I said I wouldn't watch the show. Too soon.

Bill Paxton was my favorite white guy after John Ritter. They seemed like genuinely nice people. I cant even imagine him playing the role of a dirty cop. This may have worked with Wesley Snipes or Blair Underwood.

RIP Bill Hendrickson :-)

RIP Bill always gonna be "Chet" from weird science to me.

But yo.....John Ritter is the funniest white man of all time. I thought I was the only person who thought that. Dude could just walk in the scene and had me dyin. RIP to both of em.

Bill Paxton... one of my favorite actors. He nailed every role, and has so many awesome movies to his credit. His passing upset me a great deal.

I hope Justin Cornwell continues to get roles and won't allow this to deter him from continuing his career. He was working with one of the greats! Bill Paxton was an incredible actor and he told people he didn't believe he would come out of surgery alive. RIP.
